疾病管制署（以下「疾管署」）は本日（3月25日）「新型コロナウイルスの感染リスクは続いているが、現在、台湾で提供されているJN.1対応ワクチンは、モデルナとノババックスの2ブランドあり、いずれも現在主流となっているウイルス株に対し安全で有効であり、その中で、ノババックスのJN.1ワクチンは、承認された適応症に基づき12歳以上の人にのみ適用される。 現時点でまだ6万9000回分の国内在庫があるが、有効期限があと2週間（2025年4月5日まで）しか残っていない。まだJN.1ワクチン未接種者だ接種が必要な人は、早急にワクチン接種を受けてほしい。」と発表した。
