疾病管制署（以下疾管署）は本日（6月17日）、「台湾で新たに輸入マラリアの症例3例が報告されたが、患者3例は40～50代の台湾籍男性で、4月の下旬から5月下旬にかけてベナン、ケニアを旅行しており、5月下旬～6月初旬に症状が現れ、6月中旬に医療機関を受診したが、全員が『熱帯熱マラリア』の重症例と診断された。現在、3人は引き続き入院治療中であるが、衛生単位は患者の健康状態と次の検査結果を追跡調査する予定である」と発表した。
疾管署のモニタリングデータによると、今年6月16日までに、累計で11例の輸入症例が出ており、過去19年間（2007～2025年）の最多となっている。年齢的には20代から60代、感染国はケニア（3例）、シエラレオネとソロモン諸島（各2例）、タンザニア、マダガスカル、ベナン、および中央アフリカ（各1例）で、うち10例は熱帯熱マラリア、1例は四日熱マラリアである。過去19年間（2007～2025年）に、診断が確定した症例数は計198例となっているが、その全てが海外からの輸入例であり、感染地域はアフリカ諸国が最多であり、検出された病原体は主に熱帯熱（台湾の表現では『惡性瘧』）マラリア原虫、これに三日熱（台湾の表現では『間日瘧』）マラリア原虫がこれに次いでいる。

The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) announced today (June 17) that there are 3 new cases of imported malaria in Taiwan. The patients are males of Taiwan nationality aged between 40s and 50s. They traveled to Benin and Kenya from late April to late May, became ill from late May to early June, and sought medical treatment in mid-June. All three were diagnosed with severe cases of Falciparum malaria. Currently, the three cases are still receiving hospital treatment. Health authorities will continue to track the health status of the cases and subsequent test results.
According to the CDC monitoring data, as of June 16 this year, there have been 11 imported cases, the highest in the past 19 years (2007-2025). Ages range from 20s to 60s, The infected countries are Kenya (3 cases), Sierra Leone and Solomon Islands (2 cases each), Tanzania, Madagascar, Benin and Central African Republic (1 case each), of which 10 cases were infected with Falciparum malaria and 1 case was infected with Malariae malaria. In the past 19 years (2007-2025), a total of 198 confirmed cases were all imported from abroad. Most of the infected areas are African countries, and the detected pathogens are mainly falciparum malaria, followed by vivax malaria.

疾病管制署(下稱疾管署)今(17)日公布國內新增3例境外移入瘧疾病例，為年齡介於40多歲至50多歲本國籍男性，4月下旬至5月下旬期間分別具貝南、肯亞旅遊史，5月底至6月初發病，6月中就醫，經診斷3人均為惡性瘧重症個案。目前3名個案持續住院治療中，衛生單位將持續追蹤個案健康狀況及後續檢驗結果。
疾管署監測資料顯示，今年截至6月16日累計11例境外移入個案，為近19年(2007-2025年)同期最高，年齡介於20多歲至60多歲，感染國家分別為肯亞3例、獅子山及索羅門群島各2例、坦尚尼亞、馬達加斯加、貝南及中非多國各1例，其中10例感染惡性瘧，1例感染間日瘧。近19年(2007-2025)累計198例確定病例，均為境外移入，感染地區以非洲國家為多，檢出病原體以惡性瘧為主，其次為間日瘧。
