過去の発症者数は、
2015年 138,917例、
2016年 123,283例、
2017年 109,368例、
2018年 91,152例、
2019年 81,781例、
2020年 57,820例、
2021年 50,403例、
2022年は35,951例、
2023年は37,114例にリバウンド、
2024年は累計で34,749例（速報ベース）となった。
2025年5月度は、2009年以後の単月ベスト記録の発症2,978例（死亡0例）だった。

According to the National Administration of Disease Control and Prevention (NDCPA)’s monthly report of “Reportable Infectious Disease in China, May 2025” issued on Jun. 05, 2024, we visualized the past several years’ diagnosed cases / Death case in several slides (PDF style).

Its peak season is July to September.
The number of cases diagnosed is decreasing from the year 2008 onward.
Actually, from October 2019, the number of incidents in each single month sets a record for the thirty seventh consecutive month.
