本年（2026年）3月24日の世界結核デーのテーマ「結核をなくそう！国主導、国民の力で（結核撲滅、政府の主導、国民の協力）」に呼応して衛生福利部疾病管制署（以下疾管署）は、結核の予防管理の重要性並びに22県・市の衛生局や民間堕胎及び一般市民との協力で、各項結核予防管理活動を共同で実施し、2035年までに結核を根絶するという目標の達成に向け積極的に取り組んでいる。
疾管署は本日（3月24日）、2026年世界結核デーを記念し、「結核撲滅：地域社会の連携」をテーマに記者会見を開催、本会見では、台湾の結核予防専門家や学者、民間の団体および社区（コミュニティの）住民が集まり、前松山療養所の宿舎の一部だった歴史的建造物や静心園を視察し、我が国の結核予防対策の歴史を振り返り、現在の結核予防管理の方法を説明、潜在性結核感染（LTBI）の検査と治療推進における経験が強調された。日常の結核予防法の紹介及び症状が現れたらすぐに医療機関を受診して検査を受けることの重要性が強調されたとともに、全国民の参加を目指している。
疾管署の羅一釣署長は、「長年にわたる台湾の結核対策における公衆衛生や医療、NGO、各部会等の努力のおかげで、台湾における2025年の新規結核患者数は人口10万人あたり約25人にまで減少しており、これは2005年の人口10万人あたり73人から66%の累積減少となった。結核撲滅という目標の達成加速のため、我が国の予防治療戦略では、国際基準に準拠した新たな診療技術や短期処方による治療効率の向上に加え、潜在性結核感染（LTBI）のスクリーニングと治療を高リスクグループに対して徐々に拡大し、

“Eliminating Tuberculosis: Community Together” – Working Together to Respond to World Tuberculosis Day

In response to the theme of World Tuberculosis Day on March 24, 2026, “Yes! We can End TB! Led by countries. Powered by people,” the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) of the Ministry of Health and Welfare continues to emphasize the importance of tuberculosis prevention and control. It is working with health bureaus of 22 counties and cities, non-governmental organizations, and the public to jointly implement various tuberculosis prevention and control measures and actively achieve the goal of eliminating tuberculosis by 2035.
CDC held a press conference today (Mar. 24) for World Tuberculosis Day 2026, themed “Eliminating Tuberculosis: Community Collaboration.” The event brought together Taiwanese tuberculosis prevention experts, scholars, NGOs, and community members to the Jingxin Garden, a historic building formerly part of the Songshan Sanatorium dormitory complex. This report reviews the history of tuberculosis prevention and control in my country, explains current tuberculosis prevention and control methods, and outlines experiences in promoting the testing and treatment of latent tuberculosis infection (LTBI). We shared methods for daily tuberculosis prevention and emphasize the importance of seeking medical attention and testing as soon as symptoms appear, striving to achieve the participation of the entire population.
CDC’s Director-General Lo I-Chun stated that, thanks to the efforts of public health, medical, NGOs, and various ministries over the years, Taiwan’s tuberculosis prevention and control efforts aim to reduce the incidence of new cases to approximately 25 per 100,000 population by 2025, a cumulative decrease of 66% compared to 73 per 100,000 population in 2005. To accelerate the achievement of the goal of eliminating tuberculosis, Taiwan’s prevention and control strategy, in addition to introducing new diagnostic and treatment technologies and short-course prescriptions in line with international standards to improve treatment efficiency, is also gradually expanding screening and treatment for latent tuberculosis infection (LTBI) among at-risk groups to reduce the risk of disease and prevent the spread of the epidemic. CDC will also continue to collaborate across ministries, connecting the efforts of local governments, medical institutions, non-governmental organizations, and every community member to detect cases early and intervene

疾管署今(24)日舉辦「消除結核 社區同行」2026世界結核病日記者會，邀集台灣結核病防治專家學者、民間團體以及社區民眾，進入前為松山療養所宿舍群之歷史建築靜心苑，回顧我國結核病防治歷史，說明現行結核病防治方式及潛伏結核感染(LTBI)檢驗與治療專案推動經驗，分享日常預防結核病的方法及呼籲有症狀及早就醫檢查的重要性，力求達到全民的共同參與。
疾管署羅一鈞署長表示，台灣結核病防治多年來在公衛、醫療、民間團體以及各部會等的努力下，2025年結核病新案之發生率降至每10萬人口約25例，相較2005年每10萬人口73例，累積降幅達66%。為加速達成消除結核的目標，我國防治策略除導入與國際同步之新型診療技術與短程處方以提升診療效率，更逐步擴大風險族群潛伏結核感染(LTBI)的篩檢與治療，以降低發病風險並預防疫情傳播。疾管署亦將持續跨部會合作，連結地方政府、醫療院所、民間團體以及每一位社區民眾的力量，及早發現並即時介入，守護我國民眾健康與安全。
