疾病管制署（以下疾管署）は本日（6月24日）「台湾で重症の合併症を併発した腸病毒感染症症例が新たに1例確認されたが、患者は台湾中部の4歳女児で、5月下旬から咳や鼻水が出始め、その後、数日間の発熱と歩行が緩慢になり、四肢に疼痛が相次ぎ出現し、病院で横断性脊髄炎疑いと診断されるとともに、集中治療室に入院することになった。通報後の検査と臨床評価により、急性弛緩性四肢麻痺（AFP）且つエコーウイルス11型への感染が確認され、重篤な合併症を呈していたが、容態は改善し、本日退院した」と発表した。
疾管署のモニタリングデータによると、腸病毒感染による病院受診件数は増加が続いており。第25週（6月15日～6月21日）の外来受診件数は6,772例で、前週の6,120例から10.7%の増加を示した。直近4週間の実験室モニタリングによると、市中ではエコーウイルス11型が腸病毒の多くを占めており、新生児がエコーウイルス11型に感染して重症化している症例が継続的に報告されており、新生児に重篤な新生児疾患のリスクが高まっていることが判明した。今年は、既に腸病毒感染者が合併症により重症化した確診症例8例（死者5例含む）が報告されているが、夫々エコーウイルス11型で7例（死亡4例）、コクサッキーB5型が1例（死亡）となっている。今年の腸病毒感染症の重症患者数は依然として過去6年同期中で最多となっており、2020～2024年の同期（0～6件）を上回っている；さらに、新生児の重症腸病毒感染

The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) announced today (June 24) that Taiwan has added one new case of enterovirus infection complicated by severe illness. The patient is a 4-year-old girl from central Taiwan. She started to have symptoms of coughing and runny nose in late May. She subsequently developed fever for several days, slow walking, limb pain and other symptoms. She was diagnosed with suspected transverse myelitis and was admitted to the intensive care unit for treatment. After reporting tests and clinical evaluation, it was confirmed that he had acute flaccid limb paralysis (AFP) and was infected with Ekovirus type 11 with severe complications. 疾病管制署(下稱疾管署)今(24)日公布國內新增1例腸病毒感染併發重症病例，為中部4歲女童，5月下旬開始有咳嗽、流鼻水症狀，後續陸續出現發燒數日及走路緩慢、肢體疼痛等症狀，就醫診斷疑似橫斷性脊髓炎，並收住加護病房治療，經通報檢驗及臨床評估，確認為急性無力肢體麻痺(AFP)且感染伊科病毒11型併發重症，目前病況好轉，今日出院返家。
依據疾管署監測資料顯示，近期腸病毒就診人次持續上升，第25週(6月15日至6月21日)門急診就診計6,772人次，較前一週(6,120人次)上升10.7%。近四週實驗室監測顯示社區腸病毒以伊科病毒11型為多且持續新增新生兒感染伊科病毒11型通報重症病例，新生兒重症發生風險上升。今年已累計8例腸病毒感染併發重症確定病例(含5例死亡)，分別為感染伊科病毒11型7例(4例死亡)及克沙奇B5型1例(死亡)；今年腸病毒感染併發重症病例數
