疾病管制署（以下疾管署）は本日（6月30日）、「ロタウイルスが5歳未満の小児における胃腸炎の主要な原因の一つである。幼児がロタウイルスに感染すると重度の下痢を引き起こし、入院が必要となることがあり、幼児の健康を守るため、行政院は既に2025年12月18日、乳幼児の公費予防接種プログラムにロタウイルスワクチンを含めることを承認している。
国際的な予防接種状況と国内の研究結果を参照するとともに、今年（2026年）6月24日の衛生部感染症予防管理諮問委員会の予防接種グループ（ACIP）での審議を経て、
現在台湾で承認されている2回接種製剤と3回接種製剤という2種類のロタウイルスワクチンは、幼児の重症化する胃腸炎の予防において同等の有効性と安全性を有しており、両剤とも重症ロタウイルス胃腸炎を90%以上予防し、感染による入院リスクを大幅に低減できること、また、両製剤の副反応発生率はプラセボ群と差がないことから、人々が選択できる接種対象ワクチンとすることが推奨され、
来年（2027年）1月1日から実施される予定であり、初年度は約12万の幼児にとって恩恵があるものと見込まれる」と発表した。
予防接種に関する指示は以下のとおり：
一、接種年齢：最低6週齢、最高8ヶ月齢未満。
二、推奨接種スケジュール：
■ 2回接種：生後2ヶ月と4ヶ月。
■ 3回接種：生後2ヶ月、4ヶ月、6ヶ月。
三、接種間隔：各接種の間隔は最低4週間。
疾管署は「ロタウイルスワクチンは経口ワクチンで、現在は、16の県・市が、管轄区域内の未就学児に対し、自己負担または補助金を通じてワクチン接種を提供している。
来年未就学児への公費接種が本格的に開始されると、必要な接種回数未完了の未就学児も公費接種の対象となる。
対象となる未就学児は、原則として、同じメーカーのワクチンで接種を完了せねばならない」と説明する。
疾管署は、「ロタウイルスワクチンが公費による予防接種プログラムに追加されたことで、台湾における幼児向けの公的資金による定期予防接種の種類が10種に増え、15種の感染症の予防が可能となった。し

The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) stated today (June 30) that rotavirus is one of the leading causes of gastroenteritis in children under 5 years old. Infection in young children can lead to severe diarrhea requiring hospitalization.
To protect the health of young children, the Executive Yuan approved the inclusion of the rotavirus vaccine in the publicly funded childhood vaccination program on December 18, 2025.
After referring to international vaccination practices and domestic research results, a proposal was submitted to the Advisory Committee on Infectious Disease Prevention and Control (ACIP) of the Ministry of Health and Welfare for discussion on June 24, 2026.
Considering that the two-dose and three-dose rotavirus vaccines currently approved for use in Taiwan are of comparable efficacy and safety in preventing severe rotavirus gastroenteritis in young children, both vaccines can prevent severe rotavirus gastroenteritis in over 90% of cases, significantly reducing the chance of hospitalization due to rotavirus infection.
Furthermore, the incidence of adverse reactions for both vaccines is similar to that of the placebo group. Therefore, it is recommended that both vaccines be made available to the public for selection.
The relevant vaccination instructions are as follows:
I. Vaccination Age: Minimum age is 6 weeks old, and maximum age should not exceed 8 months.
II. Recommended Vaccination Schedule:
■ 2-dose regimen: 2 and 4 months old.
■ 3-dose regimen: 2, 4, and 6 months old.
III. Vaccination Interval: Minimum interval of 4 weeks between each dose.
CDC explained that the rotavirus vaccine is an oral vaccine, and 16 counties and cities provide rotavirus vaccination to preschool children through self-purchase or subsidies currently.
After the nationwide free vaccination program for preschool children begins next year, children who have not yet completed their required doses will also be eligible for free rotavirus vaccination. Eligible children should, in principle, complete their vaccinations using the same brand of vaccine.
CDC points out that with the inclusion of the rotavirus vaccine in publicly funded vaccination programs, the number of publicly funded routine vaccinations for young children in Taiwan has increased to 10, providing protection against 15 infectious diseases.

疾病管制署(下稱疾管署)今(30)日表示，輪狀病毒是5歲以下幼兒腸胃炎的主要原因之一，幼兒感染可能因嚴重水瀉而致需住院，為保障幼童健康，行政院已於去(2025)年12月18日同意輪狀病毒疫苗納入幼兒公費疫苗接種項目。
經參考國際間接種情形及國內研究結果，
並於今(2026)年6月24日提案衛生福利部傳染病防治諮詢會預防接種組(ACIP)討論，考量目前國內核准使用的2劑型及3劑型2種廠牌輪狀病毒疫苗，於預防幼兒嚴重輪狀病毒腸胃炎的疫苗效益及安全性均相當，
2種廠牌疫苗都可預防嚴重輪狀病毒腸胃炎達90%以上，大幅減少因輪狀病毒感染住院機率，且2種廠牌疫苗不良反應發生率均與安慰劑組相似，因此建議2種廠牌併同提供民眾選擇接種，預計於明(2027)年1月1日實施，預計首年將約有12萬名幼兒受惠。
相關接種說明如下：
一、 接種年齡：最小為出生滿6週，最大不得超過8個月。
二、 建議接種時程：
■ 2劑型：出生滿2、4個月。
■ 3劑型：出生滿2、4、6個月。
三、 接種間隔：每劑最短間隔4週。
疾管署說明，輪狀病毒疫苗為口服疫苗，現行已有16個縣市以自購或補助方式提供轄內幼兒接種，於明年全面提供幼兒公費接種後，尚未完成應接種劑次之幼兒亦屬公費輪狀病毒疫苗接種對象，符合接種疫苗之適齡幼兒，原則以同廠牌完成接種。
