疾病管制署は本日（6月14日）、「高雄市立民生医院（以下、民生医院）でのデング熱発生を受け、疾管署は12日、すでに移動式感染症予防チームを設置するとともに、林明誠副署長が、南部の高雄市へ移動し、昨日（13日）開催の苓雅の区級指揮センターの前線指揮会議に出席し、デング熱の予防・対策活動の現状を把握し、その後、民生医院を訪れ、デング熱の予防・対策および各患者の臨床管理について実践的な指導と助言を行った他、
病院内の潜在的な蚊の発生源やリスク区域に関する蚊の駆除対策の改善と強化についても提言した。本日も民生病院周辺の建設現場を視察し、各項の感染予防対策が実施され、感染の拡大を厳重に防止している」と発表した。
林副署長は、「現在は民生病院におけるデング熱クラスター制御のキーポイントとなる時期にあり、感染拡大の状況を綿密に監視せねばならない。
これと同時に、高雄市は、疫学的調査により特定されたこの集団発生のインデックスケースが潜伏期間中に民生医院に入院していたことを突き止め、病院全体の検査と発生源の除去、環境浄化、集団発生現場での緊急殺虫剤散布が開始され、監視には高効率蚊捕獲器が使用された。
同時に、地域の職員や入院中の患者、退院者への検査を拡大実施した。高雄市政府は、関係部署（単位）と連携し、流行警戒コミュニティ内での感染予防・制御策を実施している。
高雄市政府チームが実施した積極的対策のおかげで、6月14日現在、インデックスケースの入院中に近隣病区から新たなデング熱感染者が確認されており、今回のクラスターにおける感染者数は計6例となったが、現時点ではこれ以上の感染拡大は見られず、7月12日まで経過観察が継続される予定だ」と指摘している。
疾管署は「高雄市と連携してデング熱の予防・対策に取り組むため、6月12日、機動型感染症予防チームを直ちに編成したが、
民生医院内および流行警戒区域内の感染発生源の調査のための派遣隊員は現在までに、累計で14名となり、
この任務には苓雅区奏捷里の高リスク管理区域視察や同村における緊急予防・対策活動の監督、および民生医院の感染対策ユニット、院内の高リスク区域、周辺の建設現場における環境リスク評価のための衛生局との連携などが含まれているが、
これに続き、高雄市が予防・抑制対策の成果を確認できるよう、対策の効果に関する継続的な評価が実施されている；
同時に、職員が府（区）級の会議に派遣され、予防・抑制に関する提言を行うとともに、ウイルス遺伝子型の解析を支援して感染源特定や流行監視を行い、中央政府と地方自治体連携でデング熱の拡大抑制に取り組んでゆく」としている。
疾管署の統計によると、2026年6月14日時点でデング熱の本土確定症例は計7例となっているが、いずれも高雄市在住者であり；
輸入症例は合計68例で、
過去5年間（3～106例であった2022年～2026年）の同期としては3番目に多い数となっているが、
そのほとんどは東南アジア諸国からの輸入症例であり（全体の69％）、インドネシアの21例を筆頭にモルディブ（14例）、ベトナム（9例）からのものが続い

The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) announced today (June 14) that, in response to the dengue fever outbreak at Kaohsiung Municipal Minsheng Hospital (Minsheng Hospital), the CDC has already established a mobile epidemic prevention team on June 12.
Deputy Director-General Lin Ming-cheng
traveled south to Kaohsiung to attend yesterday (June 13)’s forward command meeting of the Lingya District Command Center to assess the current status of dengue fever prevention and control.
Following this visit,
they visited Min Sheng Hospital to provide practical guidance and advice on dengue fever prevention and control, as well as the clinical management of individual cases.
They also offered suggestions for improvement and strengthened mosquito control measures regarding potential breeding grounds and risk areas within the hospital.
Today, they inspected the construction sites around Minsheng Hospital to ensure the implementation of various epidemic prevention measures and strictly prevent the spread of the epidemic.
Deputy Director-General Lin pointed out that the current period is critical for controlling the dengue fever cluster outbreak at Min Sheng Hospital, and close monitoring of the epidemic’s development is necessary.
Meanwhile, it was confirmed that the index case of this cluster, discovered through epidemiological investigation, had a hospitalization history at Min Sheng Hospital during the incubation period.
The city government
immediately launched a comprehensive investigation and elimination of breeding grounds and environmental cleanup, arranged for emergency spraying of insecticides in the affected areas, and used high-efficiency mosquito traps for monitoring, and expanded testing to include staff in the affected areas, hospitalized patients, and those who had been discharged.

Thanks to the proactive epidemic prevention measures implemented by the Kaohsiung City Government team, as of June 14, another dengue fever positive case was detected in a neighboring ward during the indicative case’s hospitalization. This cluster now brings the total number of cases to 6.
There is currently no indication of further spread of the outbreak, and monitoring is expected to continue until July 12.
CDC explained that,
in collaboration with Kaohsiung City on dengue fever prevention and control, a mobile epidemic prevention team was immediately established on June 12.
Team members were dispatched to conduct inspections of breeding grounds within the Minsheng Hospital and the epidemic alert area, with a total of 14 personnel deployments to date.
The tasks included inspecting high-risk control points in Zoujie Village, Lingya District, supervising emergency prevention and control work in Zoujie Village, Lingya District, and collaborating with the Health Bureau to assess environmental risks at the Minsheng Hospital’s epidemic control unit, high-risk areas within the hospital, and surrounding construction sites.
Following this,
ongoing assessments of the effectiveness of prevention and control efforts will be conducted to assist Kaohsiung City in confirming the results of its prevention and control efforts;
Representatives were also dispatched to government (district) level meetings to provide prevention and control advice, assist in virus genotyping to clarify possible sources of infection, and monitor the development of the epidemic.
The central and local governments are working together to control the dengue fever outbreak.
According to the Taiwan Centers for Disease Control (CDC), as of June 14, 2026, there have been a total of 7 confirmed local dengue fever cases, all residing in Kaohsiung City;
In addition, there have been a total of 68 imported cases, the third highest number for the same period in the past five years (ranging from 3 to 106 cases between 2022 and 2026).
Most of these cases were imported from Southeast Asian countries (accounting for 69%), with Indonesia (21 cases) being the most numerous, followed by the Maldives (14 cases) and Vietnam (9 cases).

疾病管制署(下稱疾管署)今(14)日表示，因應高雄市立民生醫院(下稱民生醫院)出現登革熱院內群聚疫情，疾管署已於12日成立機動防疫隊，
並由林明誠副署長南下高雄，出席昨(13)日苓雅區級指揮中心前進指揮會議掌握防治工作現況，隨後前往民生醫院就登革熱防治及個案臨床處置提供實務指導及建議，並針對院內可能孳生源及風險區域，提出改善意見及加強防蚊措施。
今日亦實地視察民生醫院周邊工地，以期落實各項防疫作為，嚴防疫情向外擴散。
林副署長指出，
目前為民生醫院登革熱群聚疫情控制的關鍵期，需密切觀察疫情變化。
同時肯定高雄市於疫調發現本群聚的指標個案於潛伏期間有民生醫院住院史，即啟動全院孳生源巡查清除及環境整頓、安排群聚單位緊急噴藥及透過高效能捕蚊燈輔助監測，
並針對群聚單位相關區域工作人員、住院中及回溯已出院病患擴大採檢，
並與相關局處(單位)執行疫情警戒範圍社區聯合防治等工作。在高雄市政府團隊積極防疫作為之下，截至6月14日指標案住院期間相鄰病室再檢出1例登革熱陽性確診者，本起群聚累計6例，目前尚無疫情外擴情形，預計監測至7月12日。
疾管署說明，為與高雄市協力進行防治工作，已於6月12日立即成立機動防疫隊，派遣隊員執行民生醫院及疫情警戒範圍孳生源巡檢，至今日累計出勤14人次，任務含苓雅區奏捷里高風險列管點查核、苓雅區奏捷里緊急防治工作督軍，
並偕同衛生局執行民生醫院疫情單位、院內風險場域及周邊工地評估環境風險，後續將持續安排防治後成效評估以協助高雄市確認防治成果等工作；
同時亦派員出席府(區)級會議提供防治建議、協助病毒基因型比對釐清可能感染源及監測疫情發展，中央及地方共同合作，控制登革熱疫情。
依據疾管署統計，今(2026)年截至6月14日累計7例本土登革熱確定病例，均居住於高雄市；另累計68例境外移入病例，為近5年同期第3高(2022年至2026年介於3-106例)，多自東南亞國家移入(占69%)，以印
