疾病管制署（以下、疾管署）が本日（10月15日）「先週、台風クラトンの影響で新たに類鼻疽の本土症例が1例発生した。（宮本注：患者は）高雄市の60代男性で、患者には慢性疾患と汚水や汚泥への曝露歴があり、発熱や呼吸困難、四肢の脱力感などにより入院治療中だ。糖尿病や肺疾患、肝疾患、腎疾患、がん或いは免疫機能低下している人など、重症化の恐れが高いハイリスクグループの人に発熱や胸痛、咳などの症状が出た場合、直ちに病院を受診し、早期診断早期治療に結び付けてほしい。」と発表した。

The Department of Disease Control and Prevention (hereinafter referred to as the CDC) announced today (October 15) that “One new local case of melioidosis was reported last week due to the impact of typhoon Kudos. (Patient) A male in his 60s from Kaohsiung City, he has a history of chronic illness and exposure to sewage and sludge. He sought medical treatment due to fever, difficulty breathing, limb weakness and other symptoms, and is currently hospitalized. We appeal to high-risk groups such as those with diabetes, lung disease, liver disease, kidney disease, cancer or compromised immune function, who have a higher chance of severe illness. If you have fever, chest pain, cough and other symptoms, please seek medical treatment as soon as possible for early diagnosis and treatment.

疾病管制署(下稱疾管署)今(15)日公布國內上週新增1例山陀兒颱風後本土類鼻疽病例，為高雄市60多歲男性，具慢性病史及汙水、汙泥暴露史，因發燒、呼吸困難、四肢無力等症狀就醫，目前住院治療中。呼籲糖尿病、肺病、肝病、腎病、癌症或免疫功能受損者等高風險族群，重症機率較高，如有發燒、胸痛、咳嗽等症狀請儘速就醫，即早診斷與治療。
