疾病管制署（以下疾管署）は本日（8月25日）、台湾初のデング熱本土症例が確認されたと発表したが、これは合計4例が確認された市中クラスターであり、患者はいずれも高雄市鼓山区在住者で、インデックスケース以外の3例（同居人2名、近隣住民1名を含む）は衛生局による積極的検査で特定されたものだ。インデックスケースは50代男性で、8月23日に頭痛や悪心、食欲不振などの症状を呈し、翌日に医療機関を受診したところ、NS1型検査で陽性反応が出、その後の検査でもPCR陽性となり、2型デング熱への感染とされた。衛生局の疫学調査により、同居人のうち20代男性が8月22日に発熱や頭痛などの疑い症状を呈したが、50代の女性家族の方は無症状。これら4例はともに検査でデング熱2型に陽性反応を示し、居住地も近かったことから、市中クラスターと診断された。現在、患者4名は入院治療中である。衛生単位は、既に患者の自宅や職場周辺で感染源の調査等関連の予防制御策を講じている。

The local epidemic of dengue fever is now on the rise. The public is urged to eliminate the breeding sources, and medical institutions are raising alerts.

The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) announced today (August 25) the first local case of dengue fever in Taiwan. This is a community cluster outbreak with a total of four confirmed cases, all residing in Gushan District, Kaohsiung City. In addition to the index case, the other three cases (including two cohabitants and one neighbor) were identified through proactive testing by the Department of Health. The index case is a man in his 50s who developed symptoms including headache, nausea, and loss of appetite on August 23rd. He sought medical attention the following day and tested positive for NS1, which was later confirmed by PCR, confirming he had dengue fever type 2. The Department of Health’s epidemiological investigation revealed that a male family member in his 20s had developed suspected symptoms such as fever and headache on August 22, while a female family member in her 50s was asymptomatic. All 4 cases tested positive for dengue fever type 2 and lived in close proximity, leading to the diagnosis of a community cluster. 4 cases are currently hospitalized. Health authorities have conducted prevention and control measures, including identifying breeding sources around the cases’ homes and workplaces.

疾病管制署(下稱疾管署)今(25)日公布國內首例登革熱本土病例，為一起社區群聚疫情，共計4例確定病例，均居住於高雄市鼓山區，高雄市除了指標個案外，其他3例(含同住2人、鄰居1人)，均為衛生局主動擴採檢出。指標個案為50多歲男性，8月23日出現頭痛、噁心、食慾不振等症狀，隔日到醫院就醫，經採檢為NS1陽性，並經實驗室確認為PCR陽性，確診為登革熱第二型。衛生局疫調發現，其同住家人中20多歲男性於8月22日曾出現發燒、頭痛等疑似症狀，另50多歲女性家人則無症狀，該4例個案經檢驗均為感染第二型登革熱，且居住地鄰近，研判為一起社區群聚事件。4名個案目前住院治療中。衛生單位已針對個案住家及工作地周圍進行孳生源查核等相關防治工作。
疾管署提醒，目前正值登革熱流行季節，近期國內各地陸續有降雨情形，請民眾澈底落實住家內外環境整頓與孳生源清除，並於雨後加強巡檢，以降低病媒蚊密度；戶外活動時請穿著淺色長袖衣褲，使用政府機關
