2026年1月 （1月1日00：00 ～ 1月31日 24：00）内の、全国（台湾香港マカオは含まず、以下同）の法定伝染病例は1,898,294例（宮本注：前月は7,236,052例；5,337,758例減に転）、死者数は1,930例（前月は2,896例； 955例減に転）であった。
うち、
A（甲）類伝染病では発症も死亡も0例。
B（乙）類伝染病では、発症277,621例 （前月は274,531例： 3,090例増）、死亡1,927例（前月は2,882例： 966例減に転）が報告されている。
報告されている発症データの病種ワースト5は、ウィルス性肝炎、梅毒、肺結核、COVID-19、および淋病（2位と3位が入れ替わり前月と同じに）で、B類伝染病報告総数の95.2%を占めていた。
SARSやポリオ、ジフテリア及び新生児破傷風では発症・死亡例なし。
C（丙）類伝染病では、発症数は1,620,673例（前月は6,961,521例、5,340,848例減に転）、死亡は3例（前月は14例で11例減に転）であった。
発症データの3位までの病種は、インフルエンザ、その他感染性下痢症と手足口病（12月と同種同順）であり、C（丙）類伝染病報告総数の99.6％を占めていた。
また、2026年1月から『監視下にあるその他主要感染症』（MERSやエボラ出血熱など9種類が含まれる）が公開されるようになった模様です（続くか否か、これが問題ですが…）。

In Jan. 2026 (0:00 on Jan. 1, to 24:00 on Jan. 31), the country (excluding Hong Kong, Macao Special Administrative Region and Taiwan, the same hereinafter) reported a total of 1,898,294 cases and 1,930 deaths.
In Class A infectious diseases, no cases and no deaths were reported.
In Class B infectious diseases, a total of 277,621 cases and 1,927 deaths were reported.
The top five diseases in terms of reported incidence are viral hepatitis, syphilis, tuberculosis, COVID-19 and gonorrhea, accounting for 95.2% of the total number of reported cases.
No cases or deaths were reported for SARS, poliomyelitis and diphtheria
.
In Class C infectious diseases, a total of 1,620,673 cases with 3 deaths were reported. The top three diseases in terms of reported cases were influenza, other infectious diarrheal diseases, and hand-foot-mouth disease, accounting for 99.6% of all reported Class C infectious disease cases.
In addition, it appears that from January 2026, “other major infectious diseases under surveillance” (which includes nine types such as MERS and Ebola hemorrhagic fever) will be made public (although the question is whether this will continue…).

甲类传染病无发病、死亡报告。
乙类传染病共报告发病277621例，死亡1927人。
报告发病数居前5位的病种依次为病毒性肝炎、梅毒、肺结核、新型冠状病毒感染和淋病，占乙类传染病报告病例总数的95.2%。
传染性非典型肺炎、脊髓灰质炎和白喉无发病、死亡报告。
丙类传染病共报告发病1620673例，报告死亡3人。
报告发病数居前3位的病种依次为流行性感冒、其他感染性腹泻病和手足口病，占丙类传染病报告病例总数的99.6%。
重点监测的其他传染病自2026年1月起纳入公布。
