疾病管制署（以下、疾管署）は本日（8月13日）、「先週（8月06日～8月12日）新たに347例（合併症）が確認され、前週（7月30日～8月05日）の445例（宮本注： 先週は446例と発表）から下降、これまでの合併症症例のうち65歳以上の高齢者が79％を占めている；更に、先週新たに増えた死者数は57例となり、前週の死者104例より下降（半減）、死者中では65歳以上の高齢者が90％を占めている」と発表した。

The Department of Disease Control and Prevention (hereinafter referred to as the CDC) stated today (Aug. 13) that the domestic COVID-19 epidemic last week (7/30-8/05) added 347 confirmed local cases (complications) of COVID-19, which showed a decrease compared to the 445 new cases in the previous week (7/30-8/05). Elderly people over the age of 65 accounted for 79% of the cumulative complications; Further, there were 57 new deaths last week, a decrease from the 104 new deaths in the previous week.
