疾病管制署（以下『疾管署』）は本日（8月5日）、「チクングニア熱（CHIKV）の国際的な流行が引き続き深刻化しており、世界では今年（2025年）に入ってからこれまでに25万例を上回る症例が確認されており、世界保健機関（WHO）が7月22日、各国に対し緊急対策を講じるよう呼びかけた。現在、世界的な流行は米大陸で最も深刻で、主にブラジル、ボリビア、アルゼンチンに分布している；現在、世界的には南北アメリカ大陸、特にブラジル、ボリビア、アルゼンチンで最も深刻であり；インド洋のフランス領レユニオンやマヨット島、モーリシャスでの発生は、既に他地域にも広がっている；アジアでは、インドで今年3万例超の患者が報告されている一方、中国広東省では最近深刻な流行に見舞われ、過去1週間で新規患者2,892例が報告されているが、仏山市が最も深刻な状況にあり、7月31日時点では6,900例超が確認されており、広東では他都市でも患者が報告されているほか、マカオや香港でも輸入感染が報告されていたが、マカオでは最近、本土症例2例が報告されている；ヨーロッパでは、フランスでは今年国内感染者49例が、イタリアでもまた国内感染者2例が報告されている；アフリカのケニアでは今年、感染が拡大し、これまでに600例以上の感染が確認されている。疾管署は、中国広東省への渡航勧告レベルを2「警戒（Alert）」に、ケニアについてはレベル1「注意（Watch）」に引き上げている」と発表した。

The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) announced today (August 5) that the international chikungunya epidemic continues to intensify, with over 250,000 cases reported worldwide this year (2025). The World Health Organization issued an urgent call for action on July 22nd. The global epidemic is currently most severe in the Americas, primarily in Brazil, Bolivia, and Argentina; The epidemic has spread to other regions in the French Indian Ocean territories of Reunion, Mayotte, and Mauritius, and has spread to other areas; In Asia, India has reported over 30,000 cases this year, while Guangdong Province in China has recently experienced a severe epidemic, with 2,892 new cases reported in the past week. 疾病管制署(下稱疾管署)今(5)日表示，國際屈公病疫情持續加劇，全球今(2025)年已累計逾25萬例病例，世界衛生組織已於7月22日緊急呼籲各國應採取行動。當前全球以美洲疫情最為嚴峻，主要分布於巴西、玻利維亞及阿根廷等國；印度洋之法屬留尼旺島、馬約特島、模里西斯等地疫情並已蔓延至其他地區；在亞洲部分，印度今年已逾3萬例病例，而中國廣東省近期疫情嚴峻，近1週即新增2,892例病例，且以佛山市最嚴峻，該市今年截至7月31日累計逾6,900例病例，該省其他城市亦出現病例，另澳門及香港等地也出現移入病例，澳門近日更已有2例本土病例；在歐洲地區，法國今年累計49例本土病例，義大利亦報告2例本土病例；非洲肯亞今年爆發疫情，迄今累計逾600例病例。疾管署已提升中國廣東省之國際旅遊疫情建議等級至第二級：警示(Alert)，以及提升肯亞之國際旅遊疫情建議等級至第一級：注意(Watch)。
