疾病管制署は本日（10月08日）、「台湾国内で麻疹の輸入症例1例が確診された。 患者は北部の30代男性で、9月14日から18日にかけベトナムのフーコック島ツアーに出かけていた。9月23日から29日の間に発熱や下痢、咳、咽頭痛などの症状が相次ぎ現れたため何度も病院を受診したが9月29日に紅疹が現れたために病院の救急外来を受診、当日即座に隔離入院治療となり、検査により確定診断されるとともに、10月5日には退院して帰宅している。衛生単位は既に各項予防管理活動を展開していると同時に、接触者の追跡管理をしているが、これまでに同居の家族3人、非同居家族6人、診療時の接触者145人の計154人が接触者として掌握されている； 接触者のうち1人には咳症状があり検査で陰性となり排除されたが、他には症状は見られていない。10月17日までは経過観察が続けられる予定だ」と発表。

疾病管制署今(8)日公布國內新增1例境外移入麻疹確定病例，為北部30多歲男性，9月14日至18日赴越南富國島旅遊，9月23日至29日間陸續出現發燒、腹瀉、咳嗽、喉嚨痛等症狀多次就醫，9月29日出現紅疹，再次至醫院急診，當日即安排住院隔離治療，經通報檢驗確診，並已於10月5日出院返家。衛生單位已展開各項防治工作，並持續進行接觸者追蹤管理，目前掌握接觸者共計154人，為同住家人3人、非同住家人6人、就醫接觸者145人；接觸者中1人曾出現咳嗽症狀已檢驗陰性排除，其餘均無疑似症狀，預計監測至10月17日。
疾管署說明，我國今(2024)年累計12例麻疹病例，年齡介於20多歲至40多歲，5例為本土病例，另7例為境外
