疾病管制署（以下「疾管署」）は本日（9月23日）「今年（2025年）台湾で初確認のパラチフス患者は、北部の20代外国籍男性だが、本年6月下旬～8月上旬にかけインドを旅行しており、8月上旬に台湾に入国後、中部に滞在していた。患者は8月26日に発熱や下痢、頭痛などの症状を呈して9月1日に医療機関を受診、入院して検体採取したうえで9月10日にパラチフス菌が検出され感染が確認されたが現在既に回復退院している。同居接触者3名に疑わしい症状はなく、便を採取して検査したが3人ともに陰性となった」と発表した。
疾管署の統計によると、2025年9月22日時点ではパラチフスの本土症例1例が確認されている。2021年～2025年の本土症例数累計は、それぞれ1例、6例、26例、3例、1例、輸入症例数は同0例、0例、2例、1例、0例となっているが、その中で2023年と2024年の輸入症例における感染国は、インドネシア、インド、カンボジアの各1例となっている。世界では、毎年約216万例が報告され、うち1万4千例が死亡しているが、その多くは小児である；流行は南アジアが最多で90％以上を占めており、東南アジアや西アフリカ、東アジアがこれに次ぐが、症例数最多国はパキスタン、インド、ネパールとなっている。

The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) announced today (September 23) that the first confirmed case of typhoid fever in Taiwan this year (2025) is a foreign male in his 20s from northern Taiwan, and had traveled to India from late June to early August this year and resided in central Taiwan after entering the country in early August. The patient developed symptoms such as fever, diarrhea, and headache on August 26. He sought medical attention on September 1 and was hospitalized for testing. He tested positive for typhoid fever on September 10 and has since recovered and been discharged. Public health authorities have initiated relevant prevention and control measures and are conducting a more detailed investigation into the patient’s dietary habits and other potential exposure history. The 3 household contacts showed no symptoms, and their stool samples were collected and tested; all three tests came back negative.
According to data from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), as of September 22, 2025, there has been one confirmed case of typhoid fever in Taiwan. The cumulative number of locally transmitted cases from 2021 to 2025 were 1, 6, 26, 3, and 1, respectively, while the number of imported cases were 0, 0, 2, 1, and 0, respectively. Among them, the imported cases in 2023 and 2024 are, reported from Indonesia, India, and Cambodia (1 case each). Globally, approximately 2.16 million cases of typhoid fever are reported annually, resulting in 14,000 deaths, most of which are among children; The highest number of cases were in South Asia, accounting for over 90% of the total, Next come Southeast Asia, West Africa, and East Asia, with the highest number of cases in Pakistan, India, and Nepal.

國內出現今年首例本土副傷寒確定病例，籲請民眾注意飲食及手部衛生

疾病管制署(下稱疾管署)今(23)日公布我國今(2025)年首例本土副傷寒確定病例，為北部20多歲外國籍男性，今年6月下旬至8月上旬有印度旅遊史，8月上旬入境後曾居住於中部。個案於8月26日出現發燒、腹瀉、頭痛等症狀，9月1日就醫後住院治療並採檢送驗，9月10日檢出副傷寒桿菌確診，目前已康復出院。衛生單位已啟動相關防治措施，針對個案進行更詳細飲食等暴露史之調查，3名同住接觸者皆無疑似症狀，並已採集糞便檢體送驗，3人皆檢驗為陰性。
依疾管署統計資料顯示，今年截至9月22日止，副傷寒確定病例累計1例本土病例。2021至2025年本土累積病例數分別為1、6、26、3、1例，境外移入病例數分別為0、0、2、1、0例，其中2023及2024年境外移入病例感染國家分別為印尼、印度及柬埔寨各1例。全球每年報告約216萬例副傷寒病例，其中1.4萬例死亡，多數為兒童；疫情以南亞為最高，占9成以上，其次為東南亞、西非及東亞，病例最多的國家為巴基斯坦、印度、及尼泊爾。
