疾病管制署（以下、疾管署）は本日（8月20日）、「先週、台湾
では新たに類鼻疽（メリオイドーシス）の新規症例17例が発生したが、観測データによると、本年（2024年）台湾では累計54例の類鼻疽確診症例が報告されているが、これは2006年以来の同期比最高となる。うち、47例が台風ケミの後に確定診断された患者であり、居住地別では、高雄市で35例、台南市6例、台中市3例、屏東県2例、嘉義県1例となっており、うち7例が死亡している。疾管署は、糖尿病や肺疾患、肝臓病、腎臓病、がん或いは免疫不全の人など、重症化率の高いハイリスクグループにもし発熱や胸痛、咳などの症状がある場合、早期診断・早期治療のため早急に病院受診を勧める」と発表した。

The Department of Disease Control and Prevention (hereinafter referred to as the CDC) announced today (August 20) that there were 17 new cases of indigenous melioidosis in the country last week. According to monitoring data, there have been a total of 54 confirmed cases of indigenous melioidosis in China this year (2024), the highest number since the same period in 2006. The highest number, 47 of them were confirmed cases after Typhoon Kemi, and their residences were distributed as follows: 35 cases in Kaohsiung City, 6 cases in Tainan City, 3 cases in Taichung City, 2 cases in Pingtung County, and 1 case in Chiayi County, and 7 of them died. We appeal to high-risk groups such as those with diabetes, lung disease, liver disease, kidney disease, cancer or immunocompromised people, who have a higher chance of severe illness, if you have fever, chest pain, cough and other symptoms, please seek medical attention as soon as possible for early diagnosis and treatment.

疾病管制署(下稱疾管署)今(20)日公布國內上週新增17例本土類鼻疽病例，依據監測資料顯示，今(2024)年國內已累計54例本土類鼻疽確定病例，為2006年以來同期最高，其中47例為凱米颱風後確診個案，居住地分布為高雄市35例、臺南市6例、臺中市3例、屏東縣2例、嘉義縣1例，其中7例死亡。呼籲糖尿病、肺病、肝病、腎病、癌症或免疫功能受損者等高風險族群，重症機率較高，如有發燒、胸痛、咳嗽等症狀請儘速就醫，即早診斷與治療。
