疾病管制署（以下疾管署）は本日（7月8日）「先週、重症または死亡に至った腸病毒感染の新規症例は報告されていない。この前の週に発表されていた重症化後に死亡した北部の新生児のウイルスについて検査の結果エコーウイルス11型への感染が確定した。疾管署のモニタリングデータによると、第27週（6月29日～7月5日）における救急外来受診者数は6.772人回となっており、前週6877人回とほぼ同等であった。直近4週間の実験室のモニタリングによれば、社区（宮本注： 中国語の「社区」は町会やマンション自治会などのコミュニティのこと。これに「感染」という語が加わると広い意味で「市中感染」と訳出することが多い）で流行している腸病毒ではエコーウイルス11型が多く、新生児の重症化リスクが続いていることが示された。本年は腸病毒感染により合併症を併発した重症化症例は9例（うち6例が死亡）出ているが、エコーウイルス11型への感染が9例、コクサッキーB5型1例となっている；今年の腸病毒感染により合併症を併発し重症症例数は直近6年間の同期最高となった；更に、新生児の重症化例は6例、うち5例が死亡しているが全員がエコーウイルス11型への感染であった」と発表した。
疾管署は「最近の腸病毒流行を受け、疾管署は、国内外の文献精査とともに、専門家を招き広範な討論を行い、専門医学会の勧告も参考にして『新生児エンテロウイルス感染症の臨床管理に関する勧告』の改訂を完了し、7月2日に書簡で通知した。今回の改訂ポイントに含まれたのは（１）妊婦は出産前に感染

The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) announced today (July 8) that there were no new severe cases or deaths from enterovirus last week. The northern neonatal enterovirus infection complicated by severe death case announced last Tuesday was confirmed to be infected with Echovirus type 11 through type testing. According to CDC monitoring data, there were 6,772 outpatient and emergency department visits in Week 27 (June 29 to July 5), which is comparable to the previous week (6,877 visits). Laboratory monitoring over the past four weeks showed that Echovirus type 11 was the most common enterovirus in the community, and the risk of severe illness in neonates continues. This year, there have been 9 confirmed cases of enterovirus infection with severe complications (including 6 deaths), including 8 cases of Echovirus type 11 and 1 case of Coxsackie B5; The number of severe cases of enterovirus infection this year is the highest in the same period in the past six years; In addition, the total number of confirmed cases of severe enterovirus infection in newborns remains at 6, including 5 deaths, all of whom were infected with Echovirus type 11.

疾病管制署(下稱疾管署)今(8)日表示，上週無新增腸病毒重症或死亡病例，上週二公布之北部新生兒腸病毒感染併發重症死亡病例，經型別檢驗已確定感染伊科病毒11型，依據疾管署監測資料顯示，第27週(6月29日至7月5日)門急診就診計6,772人次，與前一週(6,877人次)相當。近四週實驗室監測顯示社區腸病毒以伊科病毒11型為多，新生兒重症發生風險持續。今年累計仍為9例腸病毒感染併發重症確定病例(含6例死亡)，分別感染伊科病毒11型8例及克沙奇B5型1例；今年腸病毒感染併發重症病例數為近6年同期最高；另新生兒腸病毒感染併發重症確定病例累計仍為6例，其中5例死亡個案，均感染伊科病毒11型。
疾管署說明，因應近期腸病毒疫情，經綜整國內外文獻，並邀集專家廣泛討論及參考專業醫學會建議，已完成「新生兒腸病毒臨床處置建議」修訂並於7月2日函文週知，本次修訂重點包含(1)宣導孕婦在生產前應加強防護
