疾病管制署（以下疾管署）は本日（7月1日）、「最近、台湾では百日咳患者が増えており、6月には本土症計17例が確認された（家庭～学校クラスター1件、家族内クラスター3件を含む）。このうち、家庭～学校クラスターの初号患者は、北部在住の10代男性で、5月下旬から咳や鼻水などの症状が相次ぎ現れたが、症状が改善しなかったため、何度も医療機関を受診し、検査・通報の結果、6月中旬に確定診断された。衛生単位が流行の調査を実施し、濃厚接触者145人が特定されているが、全員健康観察または予防投薬が行われている。うち、家庭内の接触者4名及び校内の濃厚接触者4名が検査によって感染が確認され、合計で9例となった。健康観察は7月10日まで継続される予定である。更に、残りの家庭内クラスターが3件（中部の2例、北部の3例、南部の2例）については、衛生当局が接触者を特定し、関連予防・抑制措置を講じているが、健康観察は7月の15日、16日及び24日まで継続される予定だ」と発表した。
疾管署のモニタリングデータによると、今年（2025年）6月30日時点では、百日咳の症例35例が確認されている（家庭内クラスター7件、家族から学校クラスターに拡大したもの1件の患者を含む）が、いずれも本土症例となっている。症例の大部分は11歳から18歳であり、13例（37%）となっているが、生後6ヶ月未満の乳児が8例（23%）を占めている。今年の症例数は5月以降増加の趨勢にあり、累計症例数は過去10年間（2016年以降）の同期症例数としては最多となっている。日本における百日咳の流行も

The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) said today (July 1) that the pertussis epidemic in Taiwan has increased recently, with a total of 17 confirmed local cases in June (including 1 extended family campus cluster and 3 family clusters). Among them, the index case of family-extended school cluster cases is a teenager in his 10s in the north, who started to develop symptoms such as cough and runny nose in late May, since the symptoms did not improve, he went to the doctor many times and was diagnosed in mid-June after being tested and reported. The health authorities have identified 145 close contacts in the epidemic investigation, all of whom have been placed under health monitoring or given preventive medication. Among them, 4 family contacts and 4 close contacts at the same school were diagnosed after testing, bringing the total number of cases to 9. Health monitoring is expected to be until July 10. There are another three family cluster cases, including 2 in the central part, 3 in the north and 2 in the south. Health units have identified contacts and taken relevant prevention and control measures. Health monitoring is expected to last until July 15, July 16 and July 24.
According to the monitoring data of the CDC, as of June 30 this year (2025), there have been a total of 35 confirmed cases of pertussis in Taiwan (including 7 family clusters and 1 family-extended school cluster), all of which are local cases. 疾病管制署(下稱疾管署)今(1)日表示，我國近期百日咳疫情上升，6月份共新增17例本土確定病例(含1起家庭延伸校園群聚及3起家庭群聚)。其中家庭延伸校園群聚案件指標個案為北部10多歲青少年，於5月下旬起陸續出現咳嗽、流鼻水等症狀，因症狀未改善多次就醫，經採檢通報後於6月中旬確診，衛生單位進行疫情調查共匡列145名密切接觸者，皆已進行健康監測或預防性投藥，其中家庭接觸者4名及同校密切接觸者4名經採檢後確診，全案累計9例，預計健康監測至7月10日。另3起家庭群聚案件，分別為中部2例、北部3例及南部2例，衛生單位均已匡列接觸者及採取相關防治措施，預計健康監測至7月15日、7月16日及7月24日。
