疾病管制署（以下疾管署）は本日（7月22日）、台湾内では先週（7月15日～7月21日）新たに台風ダナス後の類鼻疽本土症例が報告されたが、全員高雄市在住で、年齢的には50代から90代、発症日は7月9日から7月13日の間となっており、多くの患者には高血圧や糖尿病、心血管疾病或いは肝臓病などの病歴があった。うち2例は汚染された水や泥への暴露歴があった。多くの患者は、発熱や悪寒、咳、息切れなどの症状により医療機関を受診したがうち2例は類鼻疽による肺炎及び敗血症を併発して死亡、残り4例は入院治療中である」と発表した。
疾管署は、「今年（2025年）台湾で確認された類鼻疽の本土症例は計27（うち死亡2）例で、これは暦年の同期間としては最多となる。年齢的には65歳以上が18例、50～64歳7例となっており、県・市別では高雄市が22例と最多で、これに台中市（4例）、屏東県（1例）がこれに次ぐ。うち6例が台風ダナス後に発症している」と説明している。

The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) announced today (July 22) that there were 6 new local cases of melioidosis in Taiwan last week (July 15-July 21) after Typhoon Danas. All of them lived in Kaohsiung City, aged between 50 and 90, and the onset dates were between July 9 and July 13. Most of the cases had a history of chronic diseases such as hypertension, diabetes, cardiovascular disease or liver disease, and 2 of them had a history of contact with sewage sludge. Most of the cases sought medical treatment due to symptoms such as fever, chills, cough and shortness of breath. 2 of them died of pneumonia and sepsis complicated by melioidosis, and the remaining 4 cases are all hospitalized for treatment.
The CDC explained that this year (2025) Taiwan confirmed 27 confirmed cases of local melioidosis in Taiwan this year (2025), including 2 deaths, the highest in the same period in history. The main age groups of local cases are over 65 years old (18 cases) and 50-64 years old (7 cases). The most common distribution counties and cities are Kaohsiung City (22 cases), followed by Taichung City (4 cases) and Pingtung County (1 case). Six of the cases occurred after Typhoon Danas.

疾病管制署(下稱疾管署)今(22)日公布國內上週(7月15日-7月21日)新增6例丹娜絲颱風後發病之類鼻疽本土病例，均居住於高雄市，年齡介於50多歲至90多歲，發病日介於7月9日至7月13日，多數個案具高血壓、糖尿病、心血管疾病或肝病等慢性病史，其中2例具汙水汙泥接觸史。個案多因發燒、畏寒、咳嗽及呼吸喘等症狀就醫，其中2例個案因類鼻疽併發肺炎及敗血症死亡，其餘4例均住院治療中。
疾管署說明，今(2025)年國內累計27例本土類鼻疽確定病例，其中2例死亡，為歷年同期最高，以65歲以上(18例)和50-64歲(7例)為主要年齡層，分布縣市以高雄市(22例)為多，其次為臺中市(4例)、屏東縣(1例)，其中6例於丹娜絲颱風後發病。
