疾病管制署（以下疾管署）は本日（10月1日）、「左にインフルエンザ、右に新型コロナで健康と安全を」と題する2025年度のインフルエンザおよびCOVID-19ワクチンの公費接種開始を発表する記者会見を開催した。衛生福利部の石崇良部長、莊人祥次長、疾管署の羅一鈞署長、曾淑慧副署長、楊靖慧チームリーダー、池宜倩チームリーダー、防疫大使の蔡振南氏および中華職業野球連盟ラミガールズの元チアリーダー、ヤンヤンさんと娘の淼淼さんが招待され、出席し、石部長や荘次長、防疫大使の蔡振南氏および妍言さんの娘淼淼ちゃんがまず現場でワクチン接種を受けるとともに、インフルエンザと新型コロナの第一段階の公費ワクチン接種対象者に対し、予防を二重に強化し、家族の健康と安心を確保するために、左手にはインフルエンザ、右手には新型コロナのワクチン接種をと呼び掛けた。
石崇良部長は「秋冬のウイルス流行期を迎え、インフルエンザとCOVID-19は、特に高齢者や幼児、そして慢性疾患リスクが高い人にとって、公衆衛生に深刻な脅威をもたらしています。重症化や死亡のリスクは無視できません。ワクチンは、医学界において最も効果的な予防策として認識されており、重症化率と死亡率を大幅に低減します。政府は、国民全員に十分な予防措置を確保するため、今年度（2025年度）も引き続きリソースを投入し、公費負担による三価インフルエンザワクチン約648万回分と新型コロナウイルスワクチン約299万回分を提供します。」と述べた。防疫大使の蔡振南氏は、ワクチンには「三つの金（黄金の恩恵、黄金の利便性、黄金の安全）」があると述べ、ワクチンを接種すれば自身と家族の健康を守ることができると強調した。彼はまた、「世界頭頸部がんデーの健康教育大使」としての自身の経験を共有し、改めて国民に「健康管理を絶対に遅らせないこと。医師との協力が何よりも重要」と訴えた。ウイルスに対する自身の防御力を高めるために、公費接種対象となるすべての人ができるだけ早くワクチン接種を完了するよう強く推奨する。

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) held a press conference today (October 1) to announce the start of the 2025 flu and COVID-19 vaccination program, themed “Left Arm for Flu, Right Arm for COVID-19: Health and Peace of Mind for All.” We invited Minister Shih Chung-liang and Deputy Minister Chuang Jen-hsiang of the Ministry of Health and Welfare, Director Luo Yi-chun and Deputy Director Tseng Shu-hui of the CDC, Section Chiefs Yang Ching-hui and Chi Yi-chien, COVID-19 ambassador Tsai Chen-nan, and former Lamigirls cheerleader Yen-yan with her daughter Miao-miao to attend the event. Minister Shih, Deputy Minister Chuang, Mr. Tsai Chen-nan, and Yen-yan’s daughter Miao-miao received their vaccinations on-site, urging all eligible individuals to get both the flu and COVID-19 vaccines—one in each arm—to enhance their protection and ensure the health and well-being of their entire families.
Minister Shih Chung-liang stated that with the approaching peak season for viral activity in autumn and winter, influenza and COVID-19 viruses may pose a serious threat to public health, especially for vulnerable groups such as the elderly, young children, and those with chronic illnesses. The risk of severe illness and death cannot be ignored. Vaccines are recognized by the medical community as the most effective means of prevention, significantly reducing the rates of severe illness and death. The government will continue to allocate resources this year (2025) to provide approximately 6.48 million doses of free trivalent influenza vaccines and approximately 2.99 million doses of COVID-19 vaccines, ensuring that all citizens receive adequate protection. Mr. Chien-Nan Tsai, the COVID-19 prevention ambassador, stated that vaccines offer “three golden benefits”—convenience, safety, and effectiveness—emphasizing that vaccination protects both the individual and their family’s health. He also shared his experience as a health education ambassador for World Head and Neck Cancer Day, emphasizing to the public the importance of not delaying medical treatment and following doctors’ advice. We urge all eligible individuals to complete their vaccination as soon as possible to enhance their own protection against the virus.

疾病管制署（下稱疾管署）今（1）日舉辦 114 年度公費流感及新冠疫苗開打記者會「左流右新 健康安心」，邀請衛生福利部石崇良部長、莊人祥次長、疾管署羅一鈞署長、曾淑慧副署長、楊靖慧組長、池宜倩組長、防疫大使蔡振南先生及前中職啦啦隊 Lamigirls 妍言及女兒淼淼一同出席，並由石部長、莊次長、防疫大使蔡振南先生及妍言女兒淼淼於現場率先接種，共同呼籲符合公費流感及新冠疫苗第一階段施打資格的民眾，左手接種流感疫苗、右手接種新冠疫苗，提升雙重防護力、全家健康又安心。
石崇良部長表示，隨著秋冬病毒活躍期來臨，流感與新冠病毒可能對民眾健康造成嚴重威脅，尤其對長者、幼兒及高風險慢性病患者等族群，重症及死亡風險不可忽視，疫苗是醫界公認最有效的預防手段，能顯著降低重症率與死亡率。政府今(114)年度持續投入資源，提供約 648 萬劑三價公費流感疫苗及約 299 萬劑新冠疫苗，以確保全民獲得足夠防護力。防疫大使蔡振南先生表示，疫苗具備「三金」──金好康、金方便、金安全，強調接種能同時守護自身與家人健康。他也分享，過往擔任「世界抗頭頸癌日衛教大使」的經驗，再次提醒國人「健康千萬別拖，乖乖配合醫師最重要」，藉此呼籲符合公費接種資格的民眾及早完成接種，提升自我防護力。
