広西チワン族自治区の南寧や百色、賀州などで最近チクングニア熱患者が相次ぎ発生している。
8月14日、南寧市青秀区疾病予防管理センター（以下CDC）は、「8月13日18時時点で、省外からの症例の積極的監視調査中、同区建正街道とその周辺でチクングニア熱の症例8例が相次ぎ報告されが、患者は全員軽症で、現在効果的な治療を受けている」と発表。
8月18日、南寧市青秀区CDCは「8月17日0時～24時まで、同区内でチクングニア熱の積極的監視調査実施中に、国内症例7例が発見されたが内訳は、建正街道で5例、津頭街道で1例、新竹街道で1例だが患者全員は軽症であり、有効な診断と治療を受けている」と再び発表している。
8月18日、南寧市興寧区CDCは、「積極的監視調査活動の中で、8月17日24時まで、同区内でのチクングニア熱積極的監視調査を実施していたところ、現地症例5例を発見した。その中には朝陽街道の2例、興東街道1例、三塘鎮2例が含まれているが、いずれも軽症で、有効な診断と治療を受けている」と発表。

Chikungunya cases have recently appeared in Nanning, Baise, Hezhou and other places in Guangxi.
On August 14, the Qingxiu District Center for Disease Control and Prevention in Nanning City reported that as of 6:00 PM on August 13, 8 cases of chikungunya fever had been discovered in and around Jianzheng Subdistrict in the district during active screening for cases from other provinces, and all patients presented with mild symptoms and are currently receiving effective treatment.
On August 18, the Qingxiu District Center for Disease Control and Prevention in Nanning City reported that from 0:00 to 24:00 on August 17, during active surveillance and investigation of chikungunya fever in the district, 7 local cases were detected, of which 5 cases were in Jianzheng Subdistrict, 1 in Jintou Subdistrict, and 1 in Xinzhu Subdistrict.
