疾病管制署は「本日（10月1日）、台湾では先週（9月24日～9月30日）新たにデング熱の本土症例51例が増えたが、それぞれ男性16例、女性35例となるが、10代から80代となっており、新北市の新店区に29例が、中和区に22例が居住しており、9月13日から9月28日の間に発症しており、多くの患者には発熱や悪心、頭痛、筋肉痛、下痢及び嘔吐等デング熱を疑う症状が現れ病院を受診し迅速診断で陽性が検出され、サンプルを検査に出したのちにデング熱と確定診断された。流行の超さを経て多くの患者は中和区三介廟や興南市場或いは新店区天山公園等の感染リスクのある地区での活動歴を有しており、これまでに発表されたクラスターと同一のクラスターであり、クラスター患者数は累計57例となった。新店区の32例や中和区の24例、花蓮県の1例が含まれており、うち約4割が接触者或いは拡大スクリーニング

The Department of Disease Control stated today (October 1) that Taiwan reported 51 new local dengue fever cases last week (September 24-September 30). The patients were 16 men and 35 women in their teens to 80s, 29 of whom lived in Xindian District, New Taipei City, and 22 in Zhonghe District. The onset dates ranged from September 13 to September 28. Most of the cases developed suspected symptoms of dengue fever, such as fever, nausea, headache, myalgia, diarrhea and vomiting, and then sought medical treatment and tested positive for dengue fever, after the examination, dengue fever was confirmed. After epidemic investigation, it was found that most of the cases had a history of activities in epidemic risk areas such as Sanjie Temple in Zhonghe District, Xingnan Market, or Tianshan Park in Xindian District. It belongs to the same cluster event as the previously announced cluster case. There are a total of 57 cases in this cluster, including 32 cases in Xindian District, 24 cases in Zhonghe District and 1 case in Hualien County. About 4 of them became contacts or were detected through expanded screening, and there were no severe cases
