疾病管制署（以下疾管署）は「本日（11月5日）、「新北市初のデング熱本土症例が1例報告されたが、患者は新規足し汐止区在住の60代女性だが、10月下旬に眩暈や全身の軽微な疼痛などの症状が現れ、翌日に発熱や筋肉痛などの症状が出たため病院を受診、その5日後になっても症状が緩解しないため再度病院を受診し、検体を検査したところデングウイルス1型が検出され、デング熱との診断が確定した。
患者は現在自宅で休養中だが、同居家族は全員症状が出ていない。患者には潜伏期間中の海外渡航歴はなく、主な活動地点が自宅であったため本土症例とされている。感染源については調査が待たれる。 衛生単位は既にこの患者の居住地周辺に緊急予防管理対策及び媒介蚊の密度調査が行われ、蚊の反所抗原の清掃と衛生教育の強化をするとともに人々に防蚊対策を実施するとともに関連の予防治療活動に協力し流行の拡大を防いでほしい」と発表した。
疾管署は、「国内におけるデング熱の流行が沈静化している。桃園市における2型デング熱クラスターの監視期間は11月4日に終了した。2型デング熱の患者が出た高雄市、3型デング熱クラスターが発生した台南市では最近新たな患者の報告はないが、それぞれ11月7日、11月24日まで監視が続けられる予定だ。が、その種類は新北市の症例とは異なっており、前述のクラスターとは関係がない」と説明している。

疾病管制署(下稱疾管署)今(5)日公布新北市新增首例本土登革熱病例，為居住新北市汐止區60多歲女性，個案於10月下旬出現頭暈及全身輕微痠痛等症狀，隔日出現發燒且肌肉痠痛等症狀至診所就醫，五日後因症狀未緩解再次就醫，經通報採檢送驗後確診登革熱，檢出登革病毒第一型。
個案目前於家中休養，同住接觸者目前皆無症狀。個案潛伏期無國內外旅遊史，主要活動地點為住家，研判為本土病例，感染源待釐清。衛生單位已針對個案居住地周邊進行緊急防治工作及病媒蚊密度調查加強孳生源清除及衛教宣導，呼籲民眾落實防蚊措施並配合相關防治工作，防範疫情擴散。
疾管署說明，國內本土疫情趨緩，桃園市第二型登革熱群聚已於11月4日監測期滿，高雄市第二型登革熱個案、臺南市第三型登革熱群聚近期無新增，分別將監測至11月7日和11月24日，但型別均與新北市個案不同，與上述本土疫情無關聯。
依據疾管署統計，今(2025)年截至11月4日累計26例本土登革熱確定病例，分別居住於高雄市(13例)、桃園市(7例)、臺南市(3例)、宜蘭縣、臺北市及新北市(各1例)，無重症及死亡病例；另累計221例境外移入病例，為近6年同期第三高(2020年至2024年介於11-238例)，多自東南亞國家移入(占89%)，以印尼(59例)為多，其次為越南(56例)、菲律賓(29例)及泰國(23例)。全球登革熱疫情持續，今年迄今累計443萬餘例病例。
