疾病管制署（以下疾管署）は本日（1月27日）、「今年（2026年）1月26日までの時点で、インフルエンザの公費負担ワクチンは約669万4千人回（宮本注：つまり1週で約2万人回強が増加）接種されており、約13万3千人回分が残っており、COVID-19ワクチンの累計接種回数は約163万7千人回、うち、ノババックス社製ワクチンの接種回数は約4万7千人回（即、1週で約4000人回強の増加）となっている。
最近は気温の変化が大きく、感染リスクが高まることやワクチンを接種しても十分な予防効果を得るまでに約2週間かかるため、高齢者や幼児、慢性疾患のある人など、特にハイリスクグループとなる接種対象者には、自分と家族の健康を守り、集まりをより安心なものにするためにもインフルエンザ・新型コロナウイルスワクチンの公費接種を急ぐよう推奨する」と発表した。
疾管署のデータによると、今年第3週（1月18日～24日）には、インフルエンザ様疾患による外来および救急外来の受診者数が110,501人回となり、前週比3.9%増加し、最近は増加傾向を示している；
更に、先週（1月20日～26日）には、インフルエンザの重症合併症患者が新たに14例報告された。内訳は、、A/H3N2型11例、B型3例及びインフルエンザによる合併症が重症化した死亡例5例（いずれもH3N2型）だった。
臨床検査によるモニタリングデータによると、現在、社会で流行している呼吸器病原体はインフルエンザウイルスが主流であり、A/H3N2が最も多く、これにB型及びA/H1N1型が次いでいる。
今季（2025～2026年）のインフルエンザシーズンでは、累計で重症例472例（H1N1 型119例、H3N2 型343例、未分類のA型1例、B型9例）、及び死者93例（H1N1型24例、H3N2型67例、未分類A型1例、B型1例）が発生しているが、重症例の大部分（63%）は65歳以上、慢性疾患の既往歴を持つ人（83%）、87%はワクチン未接種であった。
世界では総じてインフルエンザの活動が依然高い水準にあり、近隣国の韓国では最近上昇の趨勢を呈しており、多くの国/地域では、感染者数が比較的多いか、または中程度にとどまっている；
このほか、アジアや欧州、北アフリカ、中南米とカリブ海聞くなどの一部国家ではインフルエンザの陽性率が以前高い状態にあり、H3N2型が主だが、南米ではH3N2とH1N1が共同流行している。
疾管署は、「国内のCOVID-19は現在、低水準で推移しており、第3週には、COVID-19関連の外来および救急外来の受診者数は1,018人回で、前週より6.5％下降した；
先週は、重症化を伴うCOVID-19の市中感染例が5例でたが、死者は出ていない。2025年10月以降、重症患者を伴ったCOVID-19の本土症例数は計59例、死者は6例でている。

疾病管制署(下稱疾管署)今(27)日表示，截至今(115)年1月26日，公費流感疫苗接種數約669.4萬人次，全國疫苗尚餘約13.3萬劑，新冠疫苗接種累計約163.7萬人次，其中Novavax疫苗接種約4.7萬人次。近期氣溫變化大，可能增加疾病傳播風險，而疫苗接種約需2週才能獲得足夠保護力，呼籲符合接種資格之民眾，尤其是長者、幼兒及慢性病患者等高風險對象影響甚鉅，應儘速接種公費流感及新冠疫苗，保護自己及家人的健康。
