疾病管制署（以下、疾管署）は本日（9月16日）、「台湾で新たに輸入マラリア症例4例が確認された。患者は40代から60代の男性だが、うち3例は7月中旬～9月上旬にかけての間に海外への渡航歴があり、誰もマラリア予防薬を服用していなかった； 2例が旅行したのはインドネシアで、いずれも三日熱マラリアに感染； 1例はタンザニアやウガンダルアンダ、ケニア等複数国を旅行し、熱帯熱マラリアに感染；残り1例はインドに長期間居住しており、8月下旬に台湾に到着、三日熱マラリアに感染していた。 患者4例の発症日は7月30日～9月5日の間、症状は多くが発熱や下痢、悪寒、めまい、嘔吐、頭痛、倦怠感、関節痛が主だが、病院を受診し、通報検査により診断が確定した。 4例の患者の感染地はインドネシア、その他（アフリカ東部諸国）及びインドとなる。 現時点で3例は既に退院しており、1例はバイタルサインも安定しており入院治療中だ。衛生単位は、引き続き各症例の健康状態とその後の検査結果を追跡している」と発表した。
疾病管制署のモニタリングデータによると、今年はマラリアの症例数は計20例に上るが、全て海外からの輸入症例であり、過去19年間（2007～2025年）の同時期と比較して最多となっている。症例の年齢は10代～60代であるが、アフリカ諸国が主な感染地となっており13例を占め、その他は、アジアの5例と大洋州の2例となっている。うち14例は熱帯熱マラリア、5例が三日熱マラリア、1例がノウルシマラリア（サルマラリア）への感染だ。更に統計によると、我が国では過去19年間でマラリア症例計207例が報告されており、そのすべては海外からの輸入によるものであり、感染地はアフリカ諸国が大半を占めており、検出された病原体は主に熱帯熱マラリア、次いで三日熱マラリアだ。

The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) announced today (September 16) four new cases of imported malaria in Taiwan. All four cases are male, ranging in age from their 40s to their 60s. Of these cases, three had travel history to foreign countries between mid-July and early September, and none of them had taken malaria prophylaxis medication; Two cases involved travelers who visited Indonesia, both of whom were infected with Plasmodium vivax (a type of malaria); One case involved a traveler who had visited several countries, including Tanzania, Uganda, Rwanda, and Kenya, and contracted falciparum malaria (also known as tropical malaria); The other case was a person who had resided in India for an extended period and arrived in Taiwan in late August; this individual was infected with Plasmodium vivax (a type of malaria). The four cases had onset dates ranging from July 30 to September 5. Their symptoms included fever, diarrhea, chills, dizziness, vomiting, headache, fatigue, and joint pain. They sought medical treatment at hospitals and were confirmed positive through testing. The suspected locations of infection for the four cases were Indonesia, other (multiple countries in East Africa), and India. Currently, three of the cases have been discharged from the hospital, and one patient, whose condition is stable, remains hospitalized. Public health authorities will continue to monitor the patients’ health status and follow up on the test results.
According to data from the CDC, 20 cases of malaria have been reported in Taiwan this year, all of which are imported cases. This is the highest number of cases reported during the same period in the past 19 years (2007-2025). The patients ranged in age from their teens to their 60s. The countries of origin for infection were primarily in Africa (13 cases), followed by Asia (5 cases) and Oceania (2 cases). Of these cases, 14 were caused by Plasmodium falciparum (malaria), 5 by Plasmodium vivax (vivax malaria), and 1 by Plasmodium knowlesi. In total, over the past 19 years, 207 confirmed malaria cases have been reported in Taiwan, all imported cases, with most originating from Africa. The most common type of malaria detected was Plasmodium falciparum, followed by Plasmodium vivax.

疾病管制署(下稱疾管署)今(16)日公布國內新增4例境外移入瘧疾病例，為年齡介於40多歲至60多歲男性。其中3例七月中旬至九月上旬間均有國外旅遊史，且皆未服用瘧疾預防用藥；2例旅遊國家為印尼，均感染間日瘧；1例曾至坦尚尼亞、烏干達、盧安達、肯亞等多國旅遊，感染惡性瘧(又稱熱帶瘧)；餘1例長期居住印度，8月下旬抵臺，感染間日瘧。4名個案發病日介於7月30日至9月5日，症狀多為發燒、腹瀉、畏寒、頭暈、嘔吐、頭痛、倦怠、關節痛等，至醫院就醫並經通報檢驗確診，4名個案研判感染地分別為印尼、其他(非洲東部多國)及印度。目前3名個案已出院，1名生命徵象穩定住院治療中，衛生單位將持續追蹤個案健康狀況及後續檢驗結果。
疾管署監測資料顯示，今年瘧疾病例數已累計20例，均為境外移入病例，為近19年(2007-2025年)同期最高，年齡介於10多歲至60多歲，感染地以非洲國家占13例為主，其餘分別為亞洲5例及大洋洲2例，其中感染惡性瘧14例，感染間日瘧5例及諾氏瘧原蟲1例。另統計近19年我國通報確診瘧疾人數累計207例，均為境外移入，感染地區以非洲國家為多，檢出病原體以惡性瘧為主，其次為間日瘧。
