2024年（2024年1月1日00：00～12月31日24：00）の、新型コロナウイルス感染以外の全国（香港マカオ台湾含まず）の法定伝染患者は14,488,171例、死者は25,465例、その発症率は10万人あたり1,029.23例、死亡率は10万人あたり1.8091例であった。
A（甲）類感染症では発症者数は12例が報告され、うちペスト2例、コレラ10例であった。死者数はペストの1例となった。
B（乙）類感染症では、新型コロナウイルス感染症以外では、発症者3,367,058例、死亡者25,435例が報告され、報告された発症率は10万人あたり239.19例、報告された死亡率は10万人あたり1.8071例となった。SARSやポリオ、ヒト感染高病原性鳥インフルエンザ、ジフテリアとH7N9型鳥インフルエンザでは発症・死亡報告がなかった。 報告発症者数ワースト5は、ウイルス性肝炎、梅毒、肺結核、百日咳と淋病（宮本注：梅毒と肺結核が入れ替わり、百日咳と淋病がランクイン）であり、乙類伝染病の発症者総数の92.4%を占めていた。
C（丙）類感染症では、発症者11,121,101例、死者29例が報告され、発症率は10万人あたり、790.04例、死亡率は10万人当たり0.0020例となった。発症者数のワースト5は、インフルエンザ、その他感染性下痢症、手足口病、おたふくかぜと急性出血性結膜炎（その他感染性下痢症と手足口病が入れ替わり、

In 2024 (from 0:00 on January 1, 2024 to 24:00 on December 31, 2023), except for COVID-10 infection, a total of 14,488,171 cases of statutory infectious diseases were reported nationwide (excluding the Hong Kong and Macao Special Administrative Regions and Taiwan, the same below), with 25,465 deaths. The reported incidence rate was 1029.23/100 000 and the reported mortality rate was 1.8091/100 000.
In Class A infectious diseases, a total of 12 cases were reported, including 2 cases of plague and 10 cases of cholera. 1 death was reported from plague.
In Class B infectious diseases, excluding COVID-19, a total of 3,367,058 cases were reported, 25,435 people died, the reported incidence rate was 239.19/100,000, and the reported mortality rate was 1.8071/100,000. No cases or deaths were reported for SARS, poliomyelitis, HPAI, diphtheria, and human infection with H7N9 avian influenza. T The top five diseases were viral hepatitis, syphilis, tuberculosis, pertussis, and gonorrhea, accounting for 92.4% of all reported cases of Class B infectious diseases.
In Class C infectious diseases, a total of 11,121,101 cases were reported, with 29 deaths, a reported incidence of 790.04/100,000, and a reported mortality of 0.0020/100,000. The top five diseases reported in terms of incidence are influenza, other infectious diarrheal diseases, hand, foot and mouth disease, and acute hemorrhagic conjunctivitis and mumps, accounting for 99.9% of the total number of Class C infectious diseases reported.

甲类传染病共报告发病12例，其中鼠疫报告发病2例，霍乱报告发病10例。鼠疫死亡1例。
乙类传染病中，除新型冠状病毒感染外，共报告发病3367058例，死亡25435人，报告发病率为239.19/10万，报告死亡率为1.8071/10万。传染性非典型肺炎、脊髓灰质炎、人感染高致病性禽流感、白喉和人感染H7N9禽流感无发病、死亡报告。报告发病数居前5位的病种依次为病毒性肝炎、梅毒、肺结核、百日咳和淋病，占乙类传染病报告病例总数的92.4%。
丙类传染病共报告发病11121101例，死亡29人，报告发病率为790.04/10万，报告死亡率为0.0020/10万。报告发病数居前5位的病种依次为流行性感冒、其他感染性腹泻病、手足口病、流行性腮腺炎和急性出血性结膜炎，占丙类传染病报告总数的99.9％。
按传播途径对甲乙类传染病的分类统计中，报告肠道传染病发病91021例，死亡11人，报告发病率为6.47/10
