疾病管制署（以下「疾管署」）は本日（3月11日）、「今年（2025年）第10週（3月2日～8日）に、インフルエンザ様症状を伴う外来救急受診者数が約11万1千人回となり、最近は下降の趨勢を呈しているが、未だに流行期にある；実験室のデータによると、現在社区（コミュニティ）で蔓延している呼吸器疾患の病原体はインフルエンザウイルスが主であり、A型H1N1が最も多い。今、インフルエンザ合併症による重症者数や死者数は依然として高い水準にあるが、先週（3月4日～3月10日）は、新たに重症患者44例と死者22例が報告された。新規感染者と死亡者の大半はH1N1感染によるものだった。今シーズンのインフルエンザでは、2024年10月1日から2025年3月10日までに、重症者計1,107例（A型H1N1が1,033例、A型H3N2 は52例、A型未分類10例、B型12例）が報告され、その大半は65歳以上（57％）となっており、更に死亡者累計は239例（A型H1N1型が228例、A型H3N2型8例、B型3例）となった。
