台湾中央流行疫情指揮センターは、本日8月22日、「台湾で新たにオミクロン亜型変異株の確診症例が本土で34例および輸入で61例、計96例が増えた （さらに2例の本土症例は本年8月15日に発表された本土のBA.4患者の家庭内接触者であり、8月19日の記者会見で発表ざれていたもの）。 これまでに台湾で検出されたオミクロン亜型変異株の輸入症例は： BA.4型（78例）、BA.5型（605例）、BA.2.75型（8例）、また、本土症例ではBA.5型（92例）、BA.4型（3例）が見つかっているが本土症例ではBA2.75型の感染者はまだ見つかっていない」と発表した。

The Central Epidemic Command Center announced today (August 22) that Taiwan added 96 confirmed cases of Omicron subtype variants, including 34 local cases and 62 imported cases (The other 2 local cases are family contacts of the northern BA.4 local cases announced on August 15, 2022, and they were explained at the press conference on August 19). Confirmed cases of imported Omicron subtype mutants detected in China so far: 78 BA.4 cases, 605 BA.5 cases, 8 BA.2.75 cases, and a total of 92 BA.5 and 3 BA.4 local confirmed cases, and there is no BA2.75 local confirmed case.
The command center stated that today, 34 new local cases of Omicron subtype variant BA.5 were reported, including 22 males and 12 females, aged between under 5 years old and over 90 years old. There are 26 cases in the north, 2 cases in the middle, and 6 cases in the south. The date of diagnosis was from August 3 to August 14.

中央流行疫情指揮中心今(22)日公布國內新增96例Omicron亞型變異株確定病例，分別為34例本土個案及62例境外移入(另有2例本土個案均為今(2022)年8月15日公布之北部BA.4本土個案家庭接觸者，已於8月19日記者會說明)。截至目前國內累計檢出之Omicron亞型變異株境外移入確定病例：BA.4為78例、BA.5為 605例、BA.2.75為8例、另累計92例BA.5、3例BA.4本土確定病例，尚無BA2.75本土確定病例。
指揮中心指出，今日新增34例Omicron亞型變異株BA.5本土個案，為22名男性、12名女性，年齡介於未滿5歲至90多歲，分布為北部26例、中部2例、南部6例，確診日介於8月3日至8月14日。
