疾病管制署（以下「疾管署」）は本日（3月4日）「最近、再び寒気団が襲来し、気温が急降下しているが、新型コロナウイルスの脅威を軽視してはならない暖かく過ごすとともに、JN.1ワクチン未接種者は早急にワクチン接種を受け、防御力を高めて重症化や死亡のリスクを減らさねばならない。その中で、重症入院を防ぐ防御効果は50〜60％に達する見込みがある。生後6か月以上でJN.1ワクチン未接種者、特に重篤な合併症や死亡リスクが高い65歳以上の人や慢性疾患をかかえる人は、免疫保護を強化し、自分自身と愛する人の健康を守るため、早急にワクチン接種を」と発表した。

The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) said today (Mar. 4) that with the recent cold fronts, the temperature has dropped sharply and even reached low temperatures. The public should not ignore the threat of the new coronavirus. While keeping warm, those who have not yet received the JN.1 vaccine should get vaccinated as soon as possible to enhance protection and reduce the risk of severe illness and death. The protection rate for preventing severe illness and hospitalization can reach 50-60%. People who are over 6 months old and have not yet completed the COVID-19 JN.1 vaccination, especially those over 65 years old who are prone to severe complications and death and those with chronic diseases, are requested to get vaccinated as soon as possible to enhance immune protection and protect the health of themselves and their loved ones.

疾病管制署(下稱疾管署)今(4)日表示，近期冷氣團又來襲，溫度驟降甚至出現低溫，民眾不可輕忽新冠病毒的威脅，在注意保暖同時，如尚未接種JN.1疫苗者儘速接種提升保護力，以減少重症及死亡風險，其中預防重症住院的保護效益可達50-60%，請尚未完成接種新冠JN.1疫苗之滿6個月以上民眾，尤其對於感染易併發重症及死亡的65歲以上長者及具慢性疾病等高風險族群儘速接種，以增強免疫保護力，保障自身與親友健康。
疾管署說明，國內新冠肺炎疫情處低點波動，惟持續新增重症病例，上週(2/25-3/3)新增5例新冠併發重症本土病例及5例死亡；自2024/9/1起截至2025/3/3，新冠併發重症本土病例累計507例，其中111例死亡，均以65歲
