疾病管制署（以下「疾管署」）は本日（3月4日）「全国の下痢症救急外来受診者数が減少したとはいえ過去5年間の最多となっており、手指と食品の衛生を良好に保つよう注意喚起する。もし下痢や嘔吐などの症状が現れた場合、早急に病院を受診し、腸管感染症の伝染リスクを減らすために、病気のときは自宅で休養するようにし；飲食・宿泊業者は、環境と従業員の衛生管理を強化し、従業員及び人々の健康を確保するように」と発表した。
疾管署の監視データによると、本年第9週（2月23日～3月1日）に台湾で下痢による救急外来受診者数は275,238人回で、前週の308,626人回から1
0.8％下降しているが、依然として過去5年間（2021～2025年）の同期最多となっている；また、直近の4週間（第6週～第9週）に全国で報告された下痢症のクラスターは計344件あり、これも過去5年の同期として最多となった。飲食業と宿泊業で発生したものが最多となっており、このうち病原体検査で陽性となったのは180件で、その大半がノロウイルス（172件、
