On February 4, 2021, Fuyang City in Anhui Province reported a case of human infection with H5N6 avian influenza. The patient was a 1-year-old girl who had recovered already.
On February 4, 2021, Qiandongnan Miao and Dong Autonomous Prefecture of Guizhou Province reported a case of human infection with H5N6 avian influenza. The patient was a 3-year-old girl who had died already.
