疾病管制署（以下「疾管署」）は本日（2月25日）「今週も寒気団の影響が続き、二二八休暇とも重なっており、海外渡航や往来が頻繁化することで呼吸器感染症の確率が高まることがあるため重症化症例の発生リスクに引き続き注意が必要だ；さらに、今年（2025年）2月26日より、6か月～11歳までの小児を対象にモデルナ製JN.1ワクチン（0.5ml）の0.25ml接種が提供されるが、生後6か月以上でJN.1ワクチン未接種者、特に重篤な合併症や死亡リスクが高い65歳以上の人や慢性疾患をかかえる人は、免疫保護を強化し、自分自身と愛する人の健康を守るため、早急にワクチン接種を」と発表した。
疾管署は「台湾における新型コロナウイルスは低位で変動しているが、重症患者の発生が続く。先週（2月18日～24日）は、重度の合併症を起こしたCOVID-19の本土症例14例が新たに確認され、死者も1例となった；2024年9月1日から2025年2月24日までの時点で、重症の合併症を起こしたCOVID-19患者数は502例、うち死者は106例となるが、そのほとんどが65歳以上の高齢者と慢性疾患の病歴を持つ

疾病管制署(下稱疾管署)今(25)日表示，本週冷氣團影響持續，且適逢228國定假期，民眾出國旅遊及往來頻繁，易提高呼吸道傳染病發生機率，須持續注意重症病例發生風險；另自今(2025)年2/26起提供Moderna JN.1疫苗單劑型(0.5毫升)用於滿6個月至11歲幼童接種0.25毫升，請尚未完成接種新冠JN.1疫苗之滿6個月以上民眾，尤其對於感染易併發重症及死亡的65歲以上長者及具慢性疾病等高風險族群儘速接種，以增強免疫保護力，保障自身與親友健康。
