This flu season, from October 1 to December 9, 2024, there have been a total of 309 severe cases of influenza complications, and the majority of the age group is those over 65 years old (accounting for 59%). 疾病管制署(下稱疾管署)今(10)日表示，本流感季自今(2024)年10月1日起截至12月9日累計309例流感併發重症病例，年齡層以65歲以上長者為多(占59%)，另死亡病例累積61例，其中98%未接種本季流感疫苗；死亡數為近十年同期最高。
疾管署說明，國內上週(12/3-12/9)新增13例新冠併發重症本土病例，較前一週(11/26-12/2)18例下降，自今年9月1日起截至12月9日，新冠併發重症本土病例累計388例，其中83例死亡，均以65歲以上長者及具慢性病史
