疾病管制署（以下疾管署）は本日（3月04日）、「世界保健機関（WHO）が2025年2月25日に第3回国際保健規則緊急委員会を招集し、Mpoxの流行は世界中の多くの国、特に高リスクグループと特定の流行ホットスポットで拡大を続けており、専門家たちが、現在の世界的なMpox流行は依然としてPHEIC基準を満たしていると確認した。WHOは、今回の波を効果的に抑制するため、2月27日にMpoxの暫定推奨ガイドラインの改訂版も発表しているが、その内容は、緊急協力のためのリソース投入継続や監視と通報の強化、患者への完全な臨床ケアの提供、国境を越えた協力の確立、ワクチン接種の促進、社区のリスクコミュニケーションの保全、国家の予防治療経費と統治機能の向上、研究開発の継続といった8項の措置が各国の関連防疫措置を策定するために提供されることが含まれている。疾管署は今後もWHOの最新の勧告に注目し、Mpoxの流行監視並びにワクチン接種サービスを提供することで、市中感染のリスクを減らしてゆく」と発表した。
疾管署は「台湾は2022年6月23日よりM痘を第二類の法定感染症に分類しているが、先週（2月26日～3月3日）、新たな輸入症例1例が発生したが、患者は台湾北部の30代男性で、タイで感染したものであった。今年3月3日までの時点で、感染者数は累計455例（本土症例426例、輸入症例29例）が見つかっているが、うち、今年はこれまでに本土症例2例、輸入症例1例となっている。これまでにMpox系統1のウイルス株による感染事例は出てはいないが、輸入症例が国内に感染を拡大させるリスクには留意が必要だ。特に、東南アジア諸国の水かけ祭りが4月中旬に始まり、世界中から観光客が集まり、祝うことが予想されているが、渡航前に危険な行動が予想される場合、或いはMpoxの公費予防接種対象者には、

The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) announced today (4): The World Health Organization (WHO) convened the third International Health Regulations Emergency Committee on February 25, 2025, since the Mpox epidemic is still spreading in many countries around the world, especially in high-risk groups and some epidemic hotspots, experts have discussed and confirmed that the current international Mpox epidemic still meets the PHEIC standard. In order to effectively control this wave of epidemic, WHO also announced the revised version of the temporary recommended guidelines for Mpox on February 27, of which content includes: continue to invest resources for emergency collaboration, strengthen monitoring and reporting, provide patients with comprehensive clinical care, establish cross-border cooperation, promote vaccination, protect the community and strengthen risk communication, improve national prevention and control funds and governance efficiency, and continue research and development. These eight measures are provided for countries to formulate relevant epidemic prevention measures.
The CDC pointed out that Taiwan has classified M-pox as a Category II statutory infectious disease since June 23, 2022, and there was 1 new imported case, a male in his 30s from the north, infected in Thailand last week (2/26-3/3), and a total of 455 cases have been confirmed (425 local cases and 28 imported cases) as of March 03 this year. Among them, there have been 2 local cases and 1 imported case this year. 疾病管制署(下稱疾管署)今(4)日表示，世界衛生組織(WHO)於本(2025)年2月25日召開國際衛生條例第三次緊急委員會，由於M痘疫情仍在全球多個國家持續傳播，特別是在高風險族群及部分疫情熱點地區，經專家討論後確認目前國際M痘疫情仍符合PHEIC標準。為有效控制此波疫情，WHO亦同時於2月27日公布修訂版之M痘臨時建議指引，內容包括：持續投入資源進行緊急協作、加強監測與通報、提供患者完善臨床照護、建立跨國(境)合作、推動疫苗接種、保全社區強化風險溝通、提升國家防治經費與治理效能、持續研究與發展等8項措施，供各國制定相關防疫措施，疾管署也將持續密切關注WHO最新建議，監測M痘疫情並提供疫苗接種服務，以降低社區傳播風險。
