疾病管制署（以下、疾管署）は「本日（12月10日）、新たに麻疹の輸入症例が1例増えたが、患者は北部在住の40代男性で、11月12日～12月1日にかけてベトナムの親戚を訪問し、台湾に帰国した当日に発熱や鼻炎、咽頭痛などの症状が現れ、治療のために翌日病院を受診し入院治療をうけていたが 12月5日に紅疹が出たため隔離病棟に入ったが、病院の通報と検査により診断が確定し、彼は12月10日に隔離から解放される予定だ。衛生単位は既に各項の予防治療活動を展開しているとともに、関連の疫学調査をしている。また、この症例の医療関係者および航空機関連の接触者についてワクチン接種歴の調査を実施しているが、抗体を持っていない人には早急に暴露後の予防用MMRワクチンまたはIMIG免疫グロブリンを受けられるよう手配している。現在、同居家族4名と医療接触者49名、航空機接触者28名を含む合計81名の接触者が判明しているが、本件に関しては12月27日まで監視される予定である。

Taiwan has a new imported case of measles. People are urged to protect themselves when traveling to endemic areas. If you have suspected symptoms, you should wear a mask and seek medical attention as soon as possible and inform your doctor of your travel history.

The Department of Disease Control (hereinafter referred to as the CDC) announced today (December 10) that Taiwan added a new imported case of measles. He is a man in his 40s from central Taiwan. He visited relatives in Vietnam from November 12 to December 1, and developed fever, rhinitis, sore throat and other symptoms on the same day he returned to Taiwan. He went to the hospital for treatment the next day and was hospitalized. After treatment, he was admitted to the isolation ward after a rash appeared on December 5. The hospital confirmed the diagnosis and will be released from isolation on December 10. The health unit has launched various prevention and control efforts and continues to conduct relevant epidemic investigations. It has also conducted vaccination history investigations on the medical staff and aircraft-related contacts of the case. Those who do not have antibodies will be arranged to receive post-exposure prophylaxis MMR vaccine as soon as possible or IMIG immunoglobulin, a total of 81 contacts are currently known, including 4 family members living together, 49 medical contacts, and 28 aircraft contacts. This case is expected to be monitored until December 27.
The CDC stated that Taiwan has found a total of 15 measles cases this year (2024), ranging in age from 20s to 40s. 7 cases are local cases (including 3 cases of clusters), and the other 8 cases are imported cases. Among them, 2 cases

疾病管制署(下稱疾管署)今(10)日公布新增1例境外移入麻疹確定病例，為中部40多歲男性，11月12日至12月1日至越南探親，返臺同日出現發燒、鼻炎、喉嚨痛等症狀，於隔日至醫院就醫並住院治療，12月5日出現紅疹後收治於隔離病房，經醫院通報檢驗確診，將於12月10日解除隔離。衛生單位已展開各項防治工作，並持續進行相關疫調，亦針對與個案之醫護及航空器等相關接觸者，進行疫苗接種史調查，未具抗體者安排儘速接種暴露後預防之MMR疫苗或IMIG免疫球蛋白，目前掌握接觸者共計81人，包括同住家人4人、就醫接觸者49人、航空器接觸者28人，本案預計監測至12月27日。
疾管署說明，我國今(2024)年累計15例麻疹病例，年齡介於20多歲至40多歲，7例為本土病例(含3起群聚)，
