疾病管制署（以下「疾管署」）は本日（3月18日）「新型コロナウイルスの感染リスクは続いているが、2024年10月1日にJN.1ワクチンを接種開始して以来、国内のCOVID-19重症例および死者の96％以上はJN.1ワクチン接種を受けていない。JN.1ワクチンの接種には、現在世界で流行している主要なウイルスの予防効果があり、重症化や死亡のリスクを減らすため、まだJN.1ワクチンを接種していない人は、早急にワクチン接種を受け個人の健康を保障するように」と発表した。
疾管署は「台湾における新型コロナウイルスは低位で変動しているが、重症患者の発生が続く。先週（3月11日～3月17日）は、重度の合併症を起こしたCOVID-19の本土症例6例、死者1例が新たに確認された；2024年9月1日から2025年3月17日までの時点で、重症の合併症を起こしたCOVID-19患者数は522例、うち死者は112例となるが、そのほとんどが65歳以上の高齢者と慢性疾患の病歴を持つ人々だ

The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) said today (March 18) that the risk of COVID-19 transmission continues. 疾病管制署(下稱疾管署)今(18)日表示，新冠病毒傳播風險仍持續，自2024/10/1起JN.1疫苗開打以來，達96%以上的新冠併發重症本土及死亡病例皆未接種JN.1疫苗，而接種JN.1疫苗是可有效提升對抗目前主流病毒株之免疫保護力，減少重症及死亡之風險，呼籲尚未接種JN.1疫苗民眾儘速完成接種，保障個人健康。
