疾病管制署は本日（12月20日）、「今年（2024年）台湾初のライム病の輸入症例が確認された。患者はフランス国籍の60代男性で、今年5月から10月にかけてフランスに旅行しており、フランスにいた9月中旬にダニに刺されて足に紅疹が出たと話している。来台後も大腿部の紅疹が消えなかったため、12月上旬に病院を受診し医師の検査を受け、ライム病への感染が判明した。患者には潜伏期間中にフランスへの渡航歴があり、且つフランスから台湾に来る前にダニに刺されたと話していることから、感染地はフランスだとされた。この症例は現在、抗生物質による治療を受けている」と発表した。
疾管署の統計によると、台湾では2015年から2024年までに感染者計12例（毎年0～3人の範囲にとどまる）が確認されているが、感染地のほとんどは米国の7例（58.3％を占める）が占めているが、その他にスウェーデン、英国、フランス等の欧州国家である。さらに、国際的に多くの国で近年、流行が増大しており、韓国と日本では今年これまでにそれぞれで感染者20例を超えており、この両国において過去10

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention announced today (December 20) the first confirmed case of Lyme disease imported from abroad this year (2024). The patient is a French male in his 60s. He traveled to France from May to October this year. He reported that he developed a red rash on his legs after being bitten by a tick in France in mid-September. The patient’s thigh rash did not improve after coming to Taiwan, so he sought medical treatment in early December. The doctor informed him that he was tested and confirmed to be infected with Lyme disease. The case had a history of traveling to France during the incubation period, and stated that he was bitten by a tick before coming to Taiwan from France. It was determined that the place of infection was France. The case is currently being treated with antibiotics.
According to statistics from the CDC, Taiwan has a total of 12 confirmed cases from 2015 to 2024 (ranging from 0 to 3 cases per year), all of which are imported cases. Most of the infected countries are the United States, with 7 cases

國內出現今年首例境外移入萊姆病確定個案，民眾前往流行地區請做好防護措施，防範蜱蟲叮咬

疾病管制署今(20)日公布國內今(2024)年首例境外移入萊姆病確定病例，為60多歲法國籍男性，個案今年5月至10月至法國，自述9月中旬在法國被蜱蟲叮咬後，腿部出現紅疹。個案來臺後因大腿紅疹情形未改善，12月上旬就醫，經醫師通報採檢驗，確認感染萊姆病。個案潛伏期間具法國旅遊史，且於自述自法國來臺前遭蜱蟲咬傷，研判感染地為法國。個案目前服用抗生素治療中。
疾管署統計，我國自2015年至2024年迄今累計12例確定病例(每年介於0-3例)，均為境外移入病例，感染國家以美國7例(占58.3%)為多，其餘為瑞典、英國、法國等歐洲國家。另國際間多國於近年出現疫情上升情形，韓國
