疾病管制署（以下「疾管署」）は本日（4月29日）「国内ではCOVID-19が3週連続で増加しており、国内の外来受診者数救急外来の受診件数やCOVID-19と合併症を発症した症例数、および実験室などでの多項目のモニタリング指標に基づくと、流行が拡大し始めており、今後も増加し続けると評価されている。5月か6月にはピークから脱却しそうだが、今後の動向を注視する必要がある。民衆は、これを軽視せず、まだワクチン接種を指定な人、特に重症化リスクの高い高リスクグループの人々は早急にワクチンを接種し、重症化や死亡のリスクを軽減せねばならない。症状が疑われる場合、最寄りの薬局/ドラッグストア/コンビニ/スーパーに行き、家庭用迅速検査キットを購入し、医師の診療を容易にすることが可能だ」と発表した疾管署の統計によると、先週（4月22日～28日）の新型コロナウイルス感染症の新たな重症患者は21例、死者は7例となり、前週と比較して増加していた；2024年9月1日から2025年4月28日までの間に、新型コロナウイルス感染症（COVID-19）の重症患者は国内で600例発生、うち死者は129例となったが、そのほとんどは65歳以上の高齢者と慢性疾患の既往歴を持つ人々だった。このうち、2024年10月1日以降に報告された確定症例および死亡例の95%以上は、JN.1ワクチン未接種者であった。また、世界におけ

國內COVID-19疫情連3週上升已開始流行，呼籲全民踴躍接種新冠疫苗，以降低重症發生風險

疾管署今(29)日表示，國內新冠肺炎疫情已連續3週上升，依據國內門急診就診人次、新冠併發重症病例數及實驗室等多項監測指標，評估國內新冠疫情已開始流行且將持續升溫，高峰可能落在5月或6月仍待觀察，提醒民眾不可掉以輕心，尚未接種新冠疫苗者，尤其為具重症風險因子之高風險族群，請儘速接種疫苗，以降低重症或死亡發生風險，如有疑似症狀可就近至藥局/藥妝店/超商/超市購買家用快篩，以利醫師診斷及治療。
疾管署統計，上週(4/22-4/28)新增21例新冠併發重症本土病例及7例死亡病例，重症病例數及死亡病例數均較前一週增加；自2024/9/1起截至2025/4/28，新冠併發重症本土病例累計600例，其中129例死亡，均以65歲以上
