疾病管制署（以下「疾管署」）は本日（4月1日）「COVID-19の感染リスクは継続しており、ワクチンはその予防効果が時間経過とともに低下する。COVID-19感染後の重症化や死亡のリスクが高い人々を守るため、本年4月8日より、65歳以上および免疫不全の患者を対象に、初回接種から6か月（180日）以上経った人に、JN.1ワクチンの2回目接種を実施する。このうち1回目の接種を終えた65歳以上の約53万人が今年4月末までの2回目接種を受ける資格を得ており、疾管署は、免疫保護を強化し、重症化や死亡のリスクを減らし、病気の脅威軽減のためにも対象者に積極的にワクチン接種を呼びかけている」と発表した。

The risk of severe illness and death from COVID-19 continues. Starting from April 8, the second dose of JN.1 COVID-19 vaccine will be provided to people aged 65 and above and those with compromised immune systems to enhance immune protection.

The risk of COVID-19 transmission continues, and the protective effect of vaccines will decrease over time. To protect those at high risk of developing severe illness and death after being infected with COVID-19, starting from April 8, 2025, the second dose of JN.1 COVID-19 vaccine will be provided to people aged 65 and above, and those with immunodeficiency, with an interval of at least 6 months (180 days) from the first dose. Among them, about 530,000 people aged 65 and above have received the first dose and are eligible for the second dose by the end of April this year. 疾病管制署(下稱疾管署)今(1)日表示，新冠病毒傳播風險仍持續，且疫苗保護力會隨時間遞減，為保護感染新冠後易發生重症和死亡之高風險族群，自今(2025)年4月8日起，提供65歲以上長者及免疫不全等對象接種第2劑JN.1 COVID-19疫苗，與前1劑間隔至少6個月(180天)，其中已接種第1劑至今年4月底陸續符合接種第2劑之65歲以上長者約53萬人，呼籲符合接種資格民眾踴躍接種，以提升免疫保護力，降低重症和死亡發生風險，減少疾病威脅。
