2010年02月21日0時～24時までに、31省（自治区、直轄市）と新疆生産建設兵団が、新たに確診患者397例（宮本注： 一昨日の394例とほぼ同等に激減）、死亡者109例（湖北省106例、河北省、上海、新疆生産建設兵団で各1例）、疑似症例1,361例が増えたと報告した。
当日、新たに増えた治癒退院患者は2,393例、当日医学観察を解除された濃厚接触者26,441例、重症症例は156例の減少を示した。

At 00:00 – 24:00 on February 21, 31 provinces (autonomous regions, municipalities) and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps reported:

366 new confirmed cases in Hubei (314 cases in Wuhan). 1,767 cases were newly cured and discharged (992 in Wuhan), 106 new deaths (90 in Wuhan), currently there are 47,647 diagnosed cases (36,680 in Wuhan), of which 10,892 were severe cases (9,555 in Wuhan). There is a total of 13,557 cured and discharged patients (7,206 in Wuhan), a total of 2,250 died (1,774 in Wuhan), and a total of 63,454 diagnosed cases (45,660 in Wuhan).
