2020年05月17日0時～24時までに、31省（自治区、直轄市）と新疆生産建設兵団が、新たに確診患者7例、うち海外からの輸入患者4例（内蒙古4例）、国内3例（吉林2例、上海1例）； 死亡者0例； 疑似症例1例（海外からの輸入1例： 上海1例）が増えたと報告。
当日、新たに増えた治癒退院患者は11例、当日医学観察を解除された濃厚接触者246例、重症症例変化は2例の減少を示した。

7 newly diagnosed case: of which 4 cases are imported from abroad (4 in Inner Mongolia) and 3 are in mainland China (2 in Jilin, 1 in Shanghai);
No (0) newly added death case (0 in Hubei);
1 newly added suspected case of which 1 is imported (1 in Shanghai) and 0 case is in mainland China.

246 close contacts were newly lifted from medical observation and
2 severe cases were decreased.

At present, there are 6 diagnosed cases (6 in Wuhan: 1 severe case and 1 critical case), no (0) suspected cases, currently.
There is a total of 63,616 cured and discharged patients (46,464 in Wuhan), a total of 4,512 deaths (3,869 in Wuhan), and a total of 68,134 diagnosed cases (50,339 in Wuhan).
