疾病管制署（以下、疾管署）は本日（8月27日）、「最近、全国の下痢症救急外来の受診者数が増加傾向にあるが、長年にわたるデータによると、学校や飲食業、ホテル業界が下痢のクラスター発生の主な場所となっている。学校の初日が近づくにつれ、一般の人々は食事と手指の衛生に注意するようにし、疑い症状が見られた場合、
早急に病院を受診するだけではなく、ウイルスの伝播による流行リスク増加を避けるため、体調が悪いときには自宅で休養せねばならない」と発表した。

疾病管制署(下稱疾管署)今(27)日表示，近期全國腹瀉門急診就診人次呈上升趨勢，歷年資料顯示，腹瀉群聚場所以學校、餐飲旅宿業為主。開學日將近，籲請民眾留意飲食及手部衛生，如出現疑似症狀，除了儘速就醫外也應落實生病在家休息，以避免病毒傳播提升疫情風險。
疾管署監測資料顯示，國內第34週(8月18日至24日)腹瀉門急診就診累計125,895人次，較前一週121,905 人
