疾病管制署（以下、疾管署）は本日（4月1日）、「先週、台湾では新たに百日咳の症例が2例確認されたが、患者は南部の家庭内クラスターによるもので、いずれも3月20日に確診されていた生後2か月の女児と同居家人である。この女児は3月上旬に咳の症状が現れ、その後症状が改善せず、嘔吐や喘息も現れたため、何度も医療機関を受診していたが、3月中旬、百日咳の疑いで入院することになった。通報と検査を経て、3月20日に確定診断され、治療により3月23日に退院している。同居家族は母親と曽祖母を含め7人で、3月28日に検査を受け、今回の新たな感染者となったが、残り5人が検査を受け、投薬をしている。現在、このクラスターでは（新規感染者2人を含む）接触者99人がいるが4月22日まで観察が続けられる予定だ」と発表した。
疾管署の監視データによると、台湾では今年（2025年）は、（家庭内クラスター4件を含む）確診症例11例が報告されているがいずれも本土症例であり、症例数は過去6年（2020年以来）の同期最高となって。

Taiwan reported two new confirmed cases of pertussis last week. This is a family cluster case in the south, and all the cases are family members living with the 2-month-old baby girl who was diagnosed on March 20. The baby girl developed coughing symptoms in early March. As the symptoms did not improve and she was accompanied by vomiting and asthma, she sought medical treatment many times. She was hospitalized in mid-March for suspected whooping cough and was diagnosed on March 20 after being reported and tested. After treatment and improvement, he was discharged from the hospital on March 23. There were seven family members living together, including the case’s mother and great-grandmother, who were tested and diagnosed as new cases on March 28. The remaining five have been evaluated and given medication. There are currently 99 contacts in this cluster (including the two new cases) and they are expected to be monitored until April 22.
According to monitoring data from the CDC, there have been a total of 11 confirmed cases of pertussis in the country this year (2025) (including 4 family clusters), all of which are local cases. The number of cases is the highest in the

疾病管制署(下稱疾管署)今(1)日公布我國上週新增2例百日咳確定病例，為南部一起家庭群聚案件，均為3月20日確診之2個月大女嬰同住家人。該名女嬰3月初出現咳嗽症狀，後續因症狀未改善且伴隨嘔吐及哮喘等情形，多次就醫，於3月中旬懷疑為百日咳收治住院，經通報採檢後於3月20日確診，經治療改善已於3月23日出院，同住家人7名，其中案母及案曾祖母採檢後於3月28日研判確診為此次新增個案，其餘5名已進行評估投藥。本群聚目前共匡列接觸者99人(含此次2名新增個案)，預計監測至4月22日。
