台湾中央流行疫情指揮センターは、本日10月02日、「新たに増えたCOVID-19確診症例は43,307例（うち本土症例43,241例、輸入症例66例）；更に、確診症例中、62例の死亡者が出た」と発表。
指揮センターは、「本日、新たに増えた国内症例43,241例は、5歳未満から90代の男性20,227例、女性23,000例、性別調査中14例だ。患者分布は、新台北市（8,789例）、台中市（5,475例）、台北市（4,848例）、桃園市（4,661例）、高雄市（3,932例）、台南市（3,025例）、彰化県（2,337例）、新竹県（1,217例）、宜蘭県（1,131例）、屏東県（1,109例）、新竹市（1,056例）、苗栗県（1,009例）、雲林県（889例）、基隆市（767例）、嘉義県（750例）、南投県（652例）、花蓮県（562例）、嘉義市（424例）、台東県（358例）、金門県（131例）、澎湖県（99例）、連江県（20例）となる」としている。
指揮センターは、「本日新たに増えた死亡例62例は本土症例で、50代から90代の男性39人、女性23人となる。全員が重症患者であり、58例が慢性疾患を有しており、45例は三回のワクチン未完了（73％）

The Central Epidemic Command Center announced today (Oct. 02) that there were 43,307 newly confirmed cases of COVID-19 in China, including 43,241 local and 66 imported cases; further, there were 62 deaths.
The command center stated that the new 43241 local cases today are 20227 males and 23000 females, (14 are under investigation of gender), aged between under 5 years old and over 90s; The distribution of cases is New Taipei City (8789 cases), Taichung City (5475 cases), Taipei City (4848 cases), Taoyuan City (4661 cases), Kaohsiung City (3932 cases), Tainan City (3025 cases), Changhua County (2337 cases), Hsinchu County (1217 cases), Yilan County (1131 cases), Pingtung County (1109 cases), Hsinchu City (1056 cases), Miaoli County (1009 cases), Yunlin County (889 cases), Keelung City (767 cases), Chiayi County (750 cases), Nantou County (652 cases), Hualien County (562 cases), Chiayi City (424 cases), Taitung County (358 cases), Jinmen County (131 cases), Penghu County (99 cases), Lianjiang County (20 cases).
