疾病管制署（以下「疾管署」）は本日（12月17日）、「高雄市で新たにデング熱の本土症例2例が見つかったが、2人は同居家族で、それぞれ12月9日と13日に発熱や筋肉痛等の症状が現れた、症状が改善されないため12月16日に再び病院を受診、通報後の検査によりデング熱ウイルスへの感染が確定診断された。 現在二人は入院中であるが、その他の同居家族には疑い症状は現れていない。
疾管署は「患者は潜伏期間中に海外渡航歴がなかったため、当初は国内感染と判断されたが、主に苓雅区の自宅と小港区の職場で活動していたため家庭内クラスターとした。疾管署はこのクラスター事案に関

The Department of Disease Control (hereinafter referred to as the CDC) announced today (17th) two new cases of local dengue fever in Kaohsiung City. The two are family members who live together. They developed fever, muscle aches, etc. on December 9 and December 13 respectively. Symptoms, and seek medical treatment one after another. On December 16, the symptoms did not improve and they sought medical treatment again. After notification and examination, they were all confirmed to be infected with dengue virus. Two people are currently hospitalized, and other family members living with them have no suspected symptoms.
