吉林省衛生計生委は 2月21日、長春市で同市初の H7N9鳥インフルエンザ患者 1名が確診されたと発表。 同時に これは吉林省にとっても初のH7N9鳥インフルエンザ患者 確診症例となった。

On February 21, the Jilin Provincial Health and Family Planning Commission reported that the first confirmed case of human infection with H7N9 avian influenza was discovered in Changchun City; at the same time, he was the first confirmed case of human infection with H7N9 bird flu in Jilin Province.
At 18 o’clock on the February 19, 2014, the Changchun City’s Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) received a report that the First Hospital of Jilin University treated a patient with pneumonia and the case had a contact history of dead poultry.
