吉林省衛生計生委は、5月8日、延辺州延吉市で1名のヒト感染H7N9鳥インフルエンザ患者が確診されたが、これは同省で2人目の確診患者となる。

On May 8, the Health and Family Planning Commission of Jilin Province reported that a diagnosed case of human infection with H7N9 avian influenza was found in Yanji City of Yanbian Prefecture, which became the second diagnosed case of human infection with H7N9 avian influenza in the province.
At 16:00 on May 7, 2014, the Jilin Provincial Center for Disease Control and Prevention received a report from the Yanbian County Center for Disease Control: Recently, Yanbian Hospital treated a patient with fever. After testing done by Yanbian State’s Center for Disease Control and Prevention, the specimens are tested positive for the H7N9 avian influenza virus. According to the relevant regulations, the Jilin Provincial Center for Disease Control and Prevention immediately conducted a review and the result came out was also positive. On the afternoon of May 8, the H7N9 clinical expert group of Jilin Province diagnosed the case as a case of human infection with H7N9 avian flu, based on clinical manifestations, laboratory tests, and epidemiological investigation results.

5月8日，吉林省卫生计生委通报，延边州延吉市发现1例人感染H7N9禽流感确诊病例，也是吉林省第2例人感染H7N9禽流感确诊病例。
2014年5月7日16时，吉林省疾控中心接到延边州疾控中心报告：近日，延边医院收治一名发热患者，经延边州疾控中心采样检测为H7N9禽流感病毒阳性。按有关规定，吉林省疾病预防控制中心立即进行复核，结果也为阳性。5月8日下午，吉林省人感染H7N9临床专家组根据病人临床表现、实验室检测和流行病学调查结果，诊断该病例为人感染H7N9禽流感确诊病例。
