中央流行疫情指揮センターは、「本3月26日、新たにCOVID-19の輸入症例1例（第1014号）が確定診断されたが、フィリピン籍の30代男性出稼ぎ労働者だ。彼は2021年2月28日に、就労のために出国前72時間以内の陰性証明書を携えて来台、入国後は集中検疫所で隔離され、3月13日に隔離期間終了前検査を受けたが結果は陰性だった。 」と発表した。
指揮センターは、「患者は、隔離期間が満了した後、企業が手配したホテルに移り自主健康管理をしていた； 業務上の必要性から、彼は3月25日に専用車両に乗り病院に行き自費検査を受けたところCOVID-19陽性となり、本日確定診断された（Ct値は27.5、翌日のPCR検査Ct価は35、血清抗体IGM及びIgG全て陽性となった）。 患者は入国後の症状は無く、同じ車両の接触者7人が把握されているが、全て自主健康管理とした」と発表した。

The Central Epidemic Command Center announced today (March 26) a new confirmed case of COVID-19 imported from abroad (Case 1014), which is a Filipino male migrant worker in his 30s. He came to work in Taiwan on February 28, 2021. He had a negative test report within 3 days before the flight. He went to the centralized quarantine station for quarantine after entering the country. He was tested before the expiration of the quarantine period on March 13, and the result was negative.
The command center said, after the quarantine period of the case expired, the company arranged for independent health management in another place. Due to work needs, he took a special car to the hospital on March 25 to take a test at his own expense. He was found to be positive for COVID-19. He was diagnosed today (Ct value 27.5, Ct value 35 for nucleic acid test the next day, and serum antibodies IgM and IgG were both positive). The case did not have symptoms since his entry, and a total of 7 people in contact with him on the car have been identified, and they are listed as independent health management.

中央流行疫情指揮中心今(26)日公布國內新增1例境外移入COVID-19確定病例(案1014)，為菲律賓籍30多歲男性移工，今(2021)年2月28日來臺工作，持有搭機前3日內檢驗陰性報告，入境後至集中檢疫所檢疫，3月13日接受檢疫期滿前採檢，結果為陰性。
指揮中心表示，個案檢疫期滿後，由公司安排至其他住所自主健康管理，因工作需要，3月25日搭乘專車至醫院自費採檢，檢出COVID-19陽性，於今日確診(Ct值27.5，次日核酸檢測Ct值35，血清抗體IgM及IgG皆為陽性)。個案入境期間並無症狀，已掌握同車接觸者共7人，列自主健康管理。
指揮中心統計，截至目前國內累計186,726例新型冠狀病毒肺炎相關通報(含184,975例排除)，其中1,013
