指揮センターは、「第1009号患者は、20代インドネシア籍女性だが、2020年11月にインドネシアにおいてCOVID-19感染を確定診断され、現地にて治療をうけた後には回復していた； 本年3月9日に留学のために出国前3日以内の陰性証明を保持して来台、入国後は集中検疫センターで隔離を受け、3月22日に隔離期間前の検査を受けたところ、COVID-19陽性となり、本日確定診断された（Ct値は39）。 患者は、入国からこれまで無症状であり、隔離期間中の他人との接触がないため、濃厚接触者リストを作成しなかった」と発表した。
指揮センターは、「第1010号患者は、20代フィリピン籍男性の出稼ぎ労働者だが、本年3月9日に就業のために出国前3日以内の陰性証明を保持して来台、入国後は集中検疫センターで隔離を受け、3月22日に隔離期間前検査を受けたところ、COVID-19陽性となり、本日確定診断された（Ct値は29）。 患者は、入国からこれまで無症状であり、隔離期間中の他人との接触がないため、濃厚接触者リストを作成しなかった」と指摘している。

The Central Epidemic Command Center announced today (Mar. 24) that two new confirmed cases of COVID-19 imported from abroad have entered the country from Indonesia (Case 1009) and the Philippines (Case 1010).
The command center stated that case 1009 was an Indonesian woman in her 20s. She was diagnosed with COVID-19 in Indonesia in November, 2020, and recovered after treatment there; The case came to Taiwan to study on March 9, 2021, and had a negative test report within 3 days before the flight. After entering the country, she went to the centralized quarantine station for quarantine. She was examined before the expiration of the quarantine period on March 22. He was found to be positive for COVID-19 and was diagnosed today (Ct value 39). The case did not have symptoms since her entry, and did not come into contact with others during the quarantine period, so no contacts were listed.
The command center pointed out that Case 1010 is a Filipino male migrant worker in his 20s. He came to work in Taiwan on March 9 this year. He had a negative test report within 3 days before the flight. After entering the country, he went to the centralized quarantine station for quarantine. 中央流行疫情指揮中心今(24)日公布國內新增2例境外移入COVID-19確定病例，分別自印尼(案1009)及菲律賓(案1010)入境。
指揮中心表示，案1009為印尼籍20多歲女性，去(2020)年11月曾在印尼確診COVID-19，並於當地治療後康復；個案今(2021)年3月9日來臺就學，持有搭機前3日內檢驗陰性報告，入境後至集中檢疫所檢疫，3月22日接受檢疫期滿前採檢，檢出COVID-19陽性，於今日確診(Ct值39)。個案入境期間並無症狀，且檢疫期間未與他人接觸，故無匡列接觸者。
