2020年 1月19日 22時 ～1月19日 24時の間に、患者が1名死亡したが、退院患者と新増患者は出ていない。
死亡したのは、 陳さん （89歳 ・ 男性）。 2020年 1月13日に 発症し、 1月18日に 重篤な 呼吸困難により 入院したが、 1月19日 23時29分、 治療の甲斐なく 死亡した。 患者には、 高血圧、 糖尿病、 冠動脈性心疾患、 心室（性）期外収縮の頻発 などの 基礎疾患が有った。
1月19日 24時までに、 武漢市が報告した患者は 累計で198人、 既に治癒退院しているものは 25例、 死亡者 4例となった。 現時点で 入院治療中のもの 169例、 うち、 重症者は 35例、 危篤患者は 9例で、 全員が 武漢市の 定点 医療機構で 隔離
