22日、 0時 ～ 24時の間に、24省（区、市）が、新増した確診患者131例、死者8人が報告された。 死者の内訳は、男性が5例、女性3例だが、1例が53歳である以外は、その他は全て65歳以上の老人で、80歳以上が5割を占めている。 患者にはそれぞれに がんの手術後や肝機能損傷、高血圧、冠状動脈性心疾患、パーキンソン病などの基礎疾患があった。 13（区、市）は疑似症例257例を報告。 中国国内では、25の省（区、市）がこの新型コロナウィルス肺炎を報告しており、河北省、遼寧省、江蘇省、福建省の4省が新たに増えた。
国外で通報された確診患者： 中国香港1例、中国マカオ1例、中国台湾1例； アメリカ1例、日本1例、タイ3例、韓国1例となっている。
これまでに見つけ出された濃厚接触者は5,897人、既に医学機序を解除されたものは969人で、今なお4,928人が医学観察を受けている。

According to the website of the National Health Commission, as of 24:00 on January 22, 2020, a total of 571 diagnosed cases of pneumonitis with new coronavirus infection were reported from 25 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities) in China, including 95 severe cases and 17 deaths (all from Hubei Province). A total of 393 suspected cases were reported from 13 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities).

From 00:00 to 24:00 on the 22nd, 24 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities) reported 131 new diagnosed cases and 8 new deaths. Among the 8 deaths, there were 5 males and 3 females, with the exception of 1 case aged 53 years old, and the rest were aged 65 years or older and 5 cases aged 80 years or older. 中新网1月23日电 据国家卫健委网站消息，截至1月22日24时，共收到国内25个省(区、市)累计报告新型冠状病毒感染的肺炎确诊病例571例，其中重症95例，死亡17例(均来自湖北省)。13个省(区、市)累计报告疑似病例393例。

22日0-24时，24省(区、市)报告新增确诊病例131例，新增死亡患者8例，其中，男性5例，女性3例，除1例53岁以外，其余均为65岁以上老年人，80岁以上5例，分别患有癌症术后、肝功能损坏、高血压、冠心病、糖尿病、帕金森等慢性、基础性疾病。13省(区、市)报告新增疑似病例257例。全国共有25个省(区、市)报告疫情，新增河北、辽宁、江苏、福建4个省。
境外通报确诊病例：中国香港1例，中国澳门1例，中国台湾1例；美国1例，日本1例，泰国3例，韩国1例。
目前追踪到密切接触者5897人，已解除医学观察969人，尚有4928人正在接受医学观察。
